Football Federation Australia chief David Gallop has launched an ambitious program to massively expand football's support by making it an integral part of the Australian school system.

Interesting plan. I very much like the sound of it. I went to a school with a sports program and as a result many kids from my school went on to represent the state and some even the country in that sport.
The reason for that I believe is generally down to the kids having access to the sport far more often then others would. The same can happen for football IMO.
Nothing really in this article to explain how this would be rolled out though.
