There are probably more people interested in watching MV pump someone then AC and Strikers battle it out.FFA have really ballsed up with the games they are televising. why watch mvfc smash the weakest team left in the comp when Adel city play Brisbane strikers?

Being a MVFC away game (and interstate) its probably a commercially very good decision as far as likely viewers goes...FFA have really ballsed up with the games they are televising. why watch mvfc smash the weakest team left in the comp when Adel city play Brisbane strikers?
And next week's game - Sydney United v Sydney FC is an obvious choice.
Think they've got it spot on tbh (although the Tuggers v MVFC game sounds not really worth watching for neutrals already).

5,150 at the Tuggeranong game. Pretty good turn out.
A record for the ground.

Re: 2014 FFA Cup
Sounds like AC had by far the better chances. Something like 20 shots on goal and a lot on target.
Saw the goal on tv and it was a great delivery in from the left, headed to the keeper who parried only as far as Costa who reacted quickly to knock it in.
Highly entertaining game.

Re: 2014 FFA Cup
2,200 not a bad crowd for AC. IMO these two crowds don't warrant a move to Hindmarsh for the next game if its drawn at home. Especially as Hindmarsh would be far more expensive to use, and is all RED now!

So I've heard AC will get at least $100k prize money from making the QF and obviously more if they progress (I probably read it on this forum but don't remember where lol).

There was a good Benny Hill style chase in the aftermath of the first set of flares.I hope you avoided them when you threw your flare on the pitch!Gave up my prime spot so a small child could see
I'm surprised it's a record, the ground can hold more. It was a good turnout though and the temperature even stayed in double figures.5,150 at the Tuggeranong game. Pretty good turn out.

Re: 2014 FFA Cup
Adelaide City should have won 5-0 and it could have been more. Hit the bar once or twice and three or four fizzing past the post.
Mori has them playing some really nice football. High tempo, fast, ball to feet, possession football. Also, Costa looked quick tonight, which was quite exciting!

Re: 2014 FFA Cup
The strikers looked like better physical specimens but the football that city produced was really good. I've gone to see a few state league and many teams here play better football than the strikers produced today.Adelaide City should have won 5-0 and it could have been more.
