Sounds like I couldn't have been more wrong - total prize pool is reportedly $120k with $40k for the winner. Winning the round of 32 earned you $1,800 apparently. So I've heard AC will get at least $100k prize money from making the QF and obviously more if they progress (I probably read it on this forum but don't remember where lol).

Again Allwright & Love looked awesome dribbling through the midfield. Bris set out to try and kick them out of the game, to no avail... Costa had a great match too, outmuscling his opponent in Djite-esque style. They were all over Strikers from the outset, only a couple of shaky moments when holes opened up in defense.

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Re: 2014 FFA Cup
Considering AU's forward line, how AU IMO were dependant on Bruce's holding skills last season and Bruce's injury record last season as well. I hope they offer Costa a contract. Apparently other clubs are sniffing around. He's clearly still got developing to do but I'd much rather see a player coming up from our NYL get a contract as they would have a far better understanding of JG's system and estyle.Again Allwright & Love looked awesome dribbling through the midfield. Re: 2014 FFA Cup
So I guess we'll find out Tuesday who AU are playing but the semi finals are on the 11th and 25th of November.
AU play Friday night before the 11th and Sunday arvo before the 25th so obviously the 11th will be the one we want.

Surely they wouldn't give us the semi on the 25th - that'd be brutal. 3 games in 6 days.So I guess we'll find out Tuesday who AU are playing but the semi finals are on the 11th and 25th of November.

The compromise for me would be that if they had to play on the 25th that they would be playing an NPL club.Surely they wouldn't give us the semi on the 25th - that'd be brutal. 3 games in 6 days.So I guess we'll find out Tuesday who AU are playing but the semi finals are on the 11th and 25th of November.

Or CCM at home because we would have just played them on the 23rd. Re: 2014 FFA Cup
http://www.mfootball.com.au/greens-read ... n-history/Bentleigh Greens coach John Anastasiadis is hoping that a sold-out Kingston Heath Reserve will help propel his side over the line in their FFA Cup quarter-final date with Adelaide City on Wednesday night.
Kingston Heath apparently holds 5k so that will be a great crowd!
Interestingly..
Surely a boost the AC's chances!Attacking mainstays David Stirton, Brent McGrath and Ryan De Vries will all miss the clash after moving overseas in what is a bitter blow for the Greens.

He moved to Thailand. Good luck to him he's only young. Hopefully he can get back to where he was being in contention for Socceroos. I would have loved to see him get more of a chance at AU.Wow thats where mcgrath ended up ? Hopefully he picked up a decent gig overseas
