Continuing off topic - I thought I heard recently that the AFC was interested in merging with Oceania? Or at the very least bringing them into World Cup qualification at some stage.

This at the very least would suggest that unlike under the bin Hammam regime they're a little more open to a relationship between the confederations. If I recall it was only really bin Hammam who was opposed to Wellington being apart of the A-League - and all of the perceived issues relating to their inclusion in our comp pretty much died down after he was ousted.

If it was feasible I wouldn't see any problem having a second Kiwi side. There sure aren't any untapped population centres the size of Auckland left in Australia. Especially if (as the Fox pundits alluded to on Saturday) we want to introduce a second division at some point in the future.

but on topic, I doubt the FFA are keen to bring in an extra NZ team when the future of our one team is already in doubt.
Hey! That's not on topic either! 8)

Yeah unless the Kiwi's are the ones putting all the money up I don't think the FFA should bother with another kiwi side.
haha got me there!

Security was great this year for us this season and look how well the active support grew as a result.

Im sick of the police and media "looking out for our welfare" when we have never felt unsafe at a game.

The moment they restrict active areas even more then they already do is the moment the A-league goes on a decline again.
Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie
