Melbourne Victory will boast former Italian international Fabrizio Miccoli as its marquee signing next season - and could unveil him in this month's glamour friendly against Liverpool at the MCG.

Good move interesting to see how his body goes. He's already predicting he won't last longer then two seasons.

Looks like he's opted to join Lecce instead. Not surprising considering that's his hometown club.

Such a good little player, would have loved to seen him play in the A-League even if it was for the Victory.

So missed Karagounis and now Miccoli. They might find themselves without a marquee. Or a third choice one.

Probably still better than Flores.

They can cover Flores within their squad already.

IMO they need someone to replace Rojas the most that has that same understanding with Thompson who can put a could ball into Archie on the counter and also make intelligent runs.

they possibly already have this type of player in Nabbout but remains to be seen
