Why can't this happen in Adelaide?

Central Coast Mariners’ establishment of a feeder team in the NSW Premier League illustrates how the Gosford club continue to show the rest of the Hyundai A-League how to plan for the future.

Following the development of the club's impressive new training facilities at Tuggerah, the Mariners recently announced a partnership with Central Coast Football that will see a sharing of resources and a new feeder team playing in the NSW Premier League.

The more that time goes on the more I love everything they are doing on the Central Coast. All HAL clubs better switch on and realise they are already behind the 8 ball with this. I reckon it won't be too long till the money CCM make annually in transfer fees will be in the millions IMO.

So I ask why can't AU have a feeder club in the FFSA? Both Newcastle and CCM do it now. Or is that what the planned Australian Premier League will be more about? We have all these grand plans of signing Beckham but most HAL clubs can't afford to field junior sides.
Time to Djbate!
