Too premature but with the profile the club is getting its understandable that the board are looking for someone to blame.

Crook was shithouse, had no idea and it was obvious things weren't going to get any better under his watch. Good on him for manning up and admitting it. After copping the hammerings they were getting, there's no way back psychologically without making some big changes (see also R. Coolen).
In the absence of a well-credentialled foreigner, Farina or Miron would be better than Crook, hell ADP as player-coach would be a decent option.
