Re: Del Piero to Sydney?
It is interesting only last year sydney fc were saying Aleague players were over paid.
And to be clear, Del Piero has not yet signed they have merely agreed on a deal but he has not decided to take it yet

Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

Re: Del Piero to Sydney?
Just a quick suggestion for when we play SFC at Hindmarsh.
I suggest we don't water the ground from after we play the roar on boxing day. let his 37 year old legs run around on bone dry concrete hard pitch. "If" he gets through the game he'll learn a kewell lesson about the game in oz and really have to earn his money.

Que?but still an awesome signing for the league, hence why hyundai and foxtel are putting the cash in for it...it's just questionable when it favours one team...
Re: Del Piero to Sydney?
Apparently Sydney's announcement was premature and he is still tossing up between a few offers. On AdelaideNow.

lol, a big part of me wants him to sign with Sydney for the good of the league and then there is another small part of me that wants to see them embarrassed.

Oh no! I've heard rumours Liverpool are considering ADP to hopefully solve their striker troubles! No this is not a joke!

Re: Del Piero to Sydney?
Ray Gatt tweeted it's a done deal, announcement 7pm tomorrow Sydney time.
Fantastic news for the league, however the gloss will soon wear off if Sydney continue to be rubbish. Sucks for them that their playmaker has moved to the UAE.. Still, Del Piero (even at 37) > Yorke, Fowler, Juninho, Kewell..

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Re: Del Piero to Sydney?
Good to hear - any word on contract length? I've heard one source say 6 months and another say 2 years.
