The Odds For Next Seasons Title

Postby ZANZIBAR Sun Jul 08, 2012 10:11 am

Brisbane Roar 4.25 Melbourne Victory 5.50
Sydney FC 6.00 Wellington Phoenix 7.00
Central Coast Mariners 7.00
Perth Glory 7.50
Adelaide United 8.00
Newcastle Jets 15.00
Melbourne Heart 15.00
Western Sydney 34.00

As at July 8th

fairly close all the way through, i can see WSW coming in a bit, might be worth some money now whilst they have big odds, always worth a shot in a salary capped league?

so is it consensus that Brisbane still the team to beat even without Ange?

Us and PG would be worth a $10.

I'd have money on 5 clubs only -forget the rest they might as well be $1,000

MV and SFC, cause old habits die hard in the FFA and are loved by the refs (especially the director of refs and the coach of refs - who both despise AU by the way)

Jets and Glory, you have to keep the benefactors happy, can't be on the gravy train without them.

West Sydney Armchairs, they have to succeed in a big way before the other codes and grab all the members (and Money) as the FFA thinks.

Sixth spot who cares they won't go far in finals

Although I'd put a bet on us for the spoon again (punishment for our ACL run)

yes i have no doubt WSW will have things fall their way, maybe i should put some more money on them. And i am waiting for the odds of which team will receive the most penalties and i will back MVFC heavily

Those odds make no sense, It looks more like a popularity test

Tards really need Archie to rediscover his top form I think. Julius Davies is supposed to be a bit of a gun but we'll see.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

(I'm hoping that) This won't happen. He's a past-it old queen. The only thing he can beat that attracts attention is his wife, alas.

Hmmm... Victory conceded the second most goals last season (one less then us). Ange must have supreme confidence in his new signings / possession style to stop that trend.

Velaphi is no Covic that's for sure.

Still pretty leaky at the back it would seem.
