Apparently he understands the financial constrants for our league and is happy to play within the salary cap. What a nice chap!FABIO Grosso, Australian soccer's public enemy number one, is close to signing a deal to play in Australia.
The Australian has learned the former Italian international wants to finish his career in Australia and A-League clubs are lining up to sign him.

If a club does bring him in I'd love to see another side bring in Neill just to stir up that rivalry a tad!

I hope he gets a taste for SA produce! Anything Italian in SA has an extra zero at the end of the price! Rich Italians spend more then 5 euro on a bottle of wine!

Anti heroes are good for every league, with tiatto and muscat gone we need a new generation of players we love to hate.
I always said muscat (as much as i hated him) was great for the league, for example he has alot to do with why au mv rivalry is so intense

Yeah the rivalry is not as intense as it used to be. It's still there cause the fans hate each other but all the players who made it so great are gone.
Hope it doesn't head the same way as the AFL showdown - that has well and truly died as players have come and gone.

We've still got Kossie! I'm sure he's got a few comments up his sleeve!

Re: Grosso to the HAL
Yeah Kossie has been oddly quiet since coming on board.
I expect him to fire up next season.

Well he's already laid the boot into a few people (see thread 'Kossie has a go') Wasn't that how he got the gig in the first place?
