I'm very dissapointed with the 8 week ban. This was the FFA chance to stamp there authority by giving a length sentence letting every player know this kind of tackle will not be tolerated in the a league. In my eyes they have failed to do this. It is just a matter of time before a tackle like this rocks the league again...

The guys on the Guardian podcast were talking about it - and the general theme was that of all the awful challenges Muscat made throughout his English career, this was the worst they'd ever seen.
