A mixed bag of signings from the East coast. The Fowler led Roar seem to be delving deep into the lower tiers of English football with Aldred (Bury), Amadi-Holloway (Shrewsbury Town), Gillesphey (Carlisle United) and O'Shea (Bury) joining O'Donovan in Brisbane. It will be an interesting experiment and may even work, but I am glad it is them and not us. Pies and pints at half-time?

The Jets have signed Arroyo from Arabe Unido in Panama. It is bit of a gamble from the Jets as you'd imagine if he was bursting with talent the MLS would have swooped, though perhaps the Novocastrians managed to get him for cheap. At least he appears a player with something to prove and is young enough to take a longer-term punt on.

Shenkeveld has departed melbourne city after extensive contract talks broke down.

I'd have him in a heartbeat but I'd say he wants more cash and might be looking outside of Australia.

A midfield of Malik, McGree and Konsta would be great from an SA perspective.

Boland and Lia to provide some depth.

Malik at CDM, Konsta as box to box and McGree running around a bit further forward.

Sydney FC about to sign Brattan too.

I'd love to know how they are affording all of their players...

Brattan snubs Sydney FC in favor for a move to the Turkish league. People already speculating he'll be back within 6 months after receiving no pay.

Kruse to victory confirmed and they are also signing Nabbout. Both good signings.

Lots of clubs have released their kits, lots of ugly ones, hopefully we buck that trend.

Jai Ingham is off to Brisbane Roar after only a few weeks with the Mariners. Shades of that prat, Steve Lustica.

Very nice pick-up by the Mariners, very nice indeed. Someone really had their finger on the pulse when this came through.
