Former Japan international Keisuke Honda has been named general manager of Cambodia’s national team just a week after signing for Melbourne Victory in the A-League.
Apparently he was looking to retire and continue his humanitarian work in cambodia plus manage the national team but victory came knocking.Honda "transfers" to the management of Cambodian national team...

(The A-league is not enough.)
If Usain Bolt gets the gig at CCM maybe he could also oversee the Australian 100/200m sprint teams.

Its never really worked out for aleague clubs signing big names who are considering retirement.
Im quietly happy aufc have avoided the big name circus and signed a quality team rather than quality name.
Even if he works on his touch abd uses his speed he is tactically aware as a 9 year old, when the ball is not near him he thinks he is out of play. Bestcof luck to him this is a gutsy thing to do but surely he is a liability.Anyone else watch the CCM trial game?
I tuned in just in time to see Bolt come on at 70 mins. He was cooked by 74 mins. I don't think he has the stamina to make use of his pace and his only other appeal is his height, he didn't win any headers. His first touch is real bad too.
Fantastic athlete, nothing will take that away but he is not ready to be a professional footballer.... yet? It's only 20 minutes so we'll have to wait and see.
https://www.a-league.com.au/news/world- ... ners-debutHis debut was seen all over the world, with news organisations and personalities from around the globe reporting on Bolt & the Mariners.
Great to see both back. McCormack could be offered a deck chair for the game then just get up when he needs to take a free kick and he'd still be near the top of the scorer charts.CCM sign Tommy Oar and Ross McCormack.
