Has anyone heard what sort of wage he's on? Surely coming from La Liga he's on a pretty decent wage?
Although somehow AU can afford Baba.
Baba had been without a club for 6(?) months before we signed him.

Probably just happy to play football again.

Birighitti rumored to be returning to the HAL. Surely to Sydney FC to replace Vukovic you'd think?

I'm sure AU weren't the only club on the planet to offer him a contract.

Chris Herd has signed with the Wanderers.
That's his 10th club in 8 years (mainly being loaned out). He never really took that next step.

A handy utility player however not one to break the bank for.

Good luck to him. I don't think we'll miss him terribly. Warland has come along far enough to step into those shoes.

Let's see what develops however it would be quite a signing for City.

That would add a little spice to the Melbourne rivalry.
Is there no chance of him re-signing with Victory?

If you believe all the rumors, he wants marquee wages and isn't willing to budge. The club don't want to pay him that much.

Edit- just read an article suggesting that City have offered him marquee wages. It's the deal he wants, but I guess it just depends if there is a better deal coming from overseas.

All down to space under the cap if marquees are exhausted (or better options are on the table). If he does sign I do hope it's either with us (for obvious reasons) or with City (for the angst it would cause the noisy neighbours).

A HAL club is rumored to have offered Mark Milligan 800k a season and the wanderers are announcing a marquee this arvo. Could be him, could be someone else.
