Midweek games 1/12/2010

Postby David Votoupal Mon Nov 29, 2010 6:13 pm

Flash preview of Wednesday's games:

Sydney FC v Wellington Phoenix:
They've been shit all season, but it doesn't look as bad for Sydney FC as it did a month ago because if they win this they'll be a point out of the top six. The way the league is going, it's won't be hard to make the top six, but 5th and 6th will most likely be cannon fodder.

Gold Coast United v North Queensland Fury:
Back at Cartmanland, Gold Coast will be looking to bounce back from their loss in Adelaide, which they should do, but Fury won't make it easy for them.

Sydney have some good kids like Antonis and Petratos, who surely deserve more of a run. Their youth teams have been pretty strong, hence Iain Ramsay is an utter revelation for Adelaide United

dont really care for the result in the syd v welly game but lets hope welly get beaten around a bit and maybe a red card :)

and hopefully the fury win or draw against gold coast to help us out.

realistic tho: sydney 2-1 win and gold coast 2-0 win:(

A delayed/cancelled flight and some lost luggage would be nice too :P
When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True Story.

NQF are eventually going to have things go their way, I wouldn't be surprised if they get up over GC.

WP have a pretty good record against SFC, I want the game to be physical and full of fouls - I don't care who wins that one.

Sydney have won their last two games at home to Wellington.

Sydney win 3-1. Gan, Bridge and Brosque the scorers, Macallister for the Phoenix. Poor weather, poor crowd, not too bad a game I thought.

Wish I had, they were paying 5.5/1!
