what are you a lawyer?you did say that "end of season play offs" aren't important though, didn't you?
Finals are important (media exposure etc) I just don't think the trophy at the end of it is important.
Top after 30 games would make me happier than being in front after 90 minutes in a Grand Final. However, a grand final victory at the Adelaide Oval is probably the best thing that could happen for football in SA.
When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True Story.

I care little for the premiers plate.. noone remembers who wins the premiers plate. I want to be Champions.
Re: Give the the trophy now
The only people who remember are the ones involved. In this country the Premiers plate is fairly meaningless. We all want the toilet seat.I care little for the premiers plate.. noone remembers who wins the premiers plate. I want to be Champions.

As long as we win either premiership or championship, i'll be happy. Silverware and ACL qualification. Do not want another season of being a double runner-up.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

It's all about the desire to win. This has to be the season of redemption.

Brisbane are in the box seat they deserve to be,
Its amazing last season we were shit all year but up until the end still had a chance to make finals,
This season The ladder is starting to set early, we are only suffering from a mini form slump, but lets not forget roar have 2 games on us and in january they will likely lose mckay to socceroos duty, add an unjury to broich or paartalu and things get interesting

Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

Those two end of season wins came when it was too late! The damage was already done.Brisbane are in the box seat they deserve to be,

Maybe so. Adelaide United don't rely on one or a few, as we've always said, there's always several players to score and create goals. Van Dijk, Flores, Leckie, Ramsay and even Fyfe have all played their part. This season The ladder is starting to set early, we are only suffering from a mini form slump, but lets not forget roar have 2 games on us and in january they will likely lose mckay to socceroos duty, add an unjury to broich or paartalu and things get interesting

Re: Give the the trophy now
@Carl: Danny Vukovic and his fucking head getting in the way of us getting the Premiers Plate hurt more than losing the minor Championship - even though it was to bloody MVFC.
Being the best team over the course of the season is far more important to me than winning a minor domestic cup competition as it garauntees us entry into the ACL.
Anyway I am expecting BR to pull a Liverpool and continue to throw away wins and turn them into draws and us to make a strong run home so we end up pinching the Premiership by a point.

Brisbane have a 6 point gap but have played 2 more games, we match their results for the rest of the season and win our last game against them at home and we'll take the plate unless GCU has a huge finish to the season.
