Finals are important (media exposure etc) I just don't think the trophy at the end of it is important.

Top after 30 games would make me happier than being in front after 90 minutes in a Grand Final. However, a grand final victory at the Adelaide Oval is probably the best thing that could happen for football in SA.

Maybe so. Adelaide United don't rely on one or a few, as we've always said, there's always several players to score and create goals. Van Dijk, Flores, Leckie, Ramsay and even Fyfe have all played their part.

@Carl: Danny Vukovic and his fucking head getting in the way of us getting the Premiers Plate hurt more than losing the minor Championship - even though it was to bloody MVFC.

Being the best team over the course of the season is far more important to me than winning a minor domestic cup competition as it garauntees us entry into the ACL.

Anyway I am expecting BR to pull a Liverpool and continue to throw away wins and turn them into draws and us to make a strong run home so we end up pinching the Premiership by a point.

Brisbane have a 6 point gap but have played 2 more games, we match their results for the rest of the season and win our last game against them at home and we'll take the plate unless GCU has a huge finish to the season.
