True. I'm not sure what to root for now! If he does well, the HAL sucks. If he doesn't, it's a big blow for the HAL strugglers. What a circus. In light of the Luis Garcia signing for CCM. Apparently CCM are going to allocate a special bay for all the Liverpool fans who attend all season.
I wish the guy well but its going to reflect poorly if a guy who has been retired for a year and came from the indian premier league does anything of note

with koren leaving city, they have cash and a marquee spot up for grabs. I hope they get a big name player to boost the league profile

Read more at http://www.socceroos.com.au/article/soc ... w12Yl5t.99According to reports, club-less Socceroo Tommy Oar appears unlikely to return to the Hyundai A-League with China or somewhere Europe his likely next destination.
Oar was granted a release from English Championship club Ipswich over the weekend, citing homesickness as the primary reason for terminating his contract.
Quits due to homesickness, doesn't return home....ok

Perth have picked up Keogh, Taggart and now Lowry. It's a good thing we have all of our Glory games under our belt.

I read he cannot play as it will be his 3rd club for the year (FIFA rule)......does that mean he is going to be training until October 2016? Seems bit of waste if so.I'm glad to hear Taggart is coming back. It will be interesting to see how Lowry goes.Perth have picked up Keogh, Taggart and now Lowry. I'd never heard of this rule before.
Seems like just the sort of thing Perth would do!
Hopefully for Taggart he can stay where he is till the end of the season.

You can't play for more than 2 clubs in 12 months (can't remember if it's june->june or calendar year) unless you become clubless against your will. I'm not sure if expiring contracts count here either.I'd never heard of this rule before.

Read more at http://www.brisbaneroar.com.au/article/ ... RZJveBv.99Brisbane Roar FC is proud to announce the signing of talented young forward and Olyroo Brandon Borrello to a Hyundai A-League senior contract.
I was hoping he was going to leave as rumoured as I would have loved to see AU make a play for him.
But I'm glad he's re-signed to stay in the HAL longer. I feel this will help his development more than moving to Europe so young.

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/ ... on-phoenixCoveted Melbourne Victory flier Kosta Barbarouses has agreed terms to return to his roots at Wellington Phoenix next season in a deal believed to be worth $750,000 a year.
Wowzers is he worth that sort of a pay packet?
Interesting that he's part of the ACL squad considering he's leaving.

Manny Muscat to Melb City.
Very odd move IMO.
I still don't get why clubs have to announce signings like these now. Why not wait till the end of the season?
It just seems inconsiderate that fans have to cheer on someone who will be an opposition player in a few months time.
