AU play a fast, mobile style of football.

AU looked at Mullen and said 'no thanks'.
SFC looked at Mullen and said 'yes'.

If I remember rightly, his local club is more SFC than AU anyway (as are most of the local clubs).

It's great that he's getting a chance but I'm not too upset because it's probable he either didn't have much to offer us or we already have what he can offer us covered.

Luke Brattan has had his contract with Brisbane terminated after the club failed to pay a year's worth of super.

He's one of those players I can't stand and with his new haircut I like him even less.

Sad to see him cash in his talent like that but IMO it better to seek out places that can afford high salaries then coming back to the HAL and complaining about low wages here.
I just hope he gets regular game time and can be a contender for the Socceroos squad again.

I don't understand the fascination with middle east clubs. Sure, the money's good but that's the only reason to go there because everyone who has, has come out with their footballing tails between their legs. It just looks like Troisi made all that noise about wanting to improve his football... and then chased the petro-dollars.
