Melbourne City's Australian marquee Josh Kennedy has arrived in Australia and will commence training this week, the club said.

Great to see Jesus in Oz. Hopefully his injury run is behind him till he needs to play AU.

SFC sign Mickael Tavare. Never heard of him but has a decent pedigree.

Quote from the player in his move:

"I know he [Graham Arnold] likes to play football with the ball on the floor, short, sharp and attacking football and that is my sort of game which is ideal."

You are in for a shock mate. Cannot think of a single word in that quote that I would use to describe SFC lol.

It's accurate, he may "like" to play that game but his teams rarely achieve it. And if they do they take 3 seasons to get there...

Kurtishi likely to leave Brisbane.

-----------

Albanian striker from Kumanovo , Mansur Kurtishi , who plays Brisbone Roar team , the current champion of Australia , apparently is to removal by the latter . The reason for this is not a good time going through to the Australian team .
According to sources the newspaper " News " is very likely that 28 - year-old to leave the club this month from Australia . Always according to newspaper sources striker Kumanovo , although no contract for six months with Australian team could happen in agreement with club leaders to abandon the Australian Championships and return somewhere in Europe to select a team for the future of his most well , that is to play as much as the titular .
With the understanding that there are good chances that he shared with Roar Brisbone bids to have missed .Our sources suggest that the Albanian striker may return somewhere in Europe , which have expressed interest in some teams from Austria , Azerbaijan and others .
We recall that , Kurtishi before moving to Australia had

I think that's a bit harsh on the guy. He's played as a #10 a lot of his career and now is expected to replace Berisha.

I'd call that just poor recruitment. Much like AU signing Owusu and expecting him to play as a target man when he's never played that role before.

I wonder what that means for Golgol Mebrahtu? I'm not sure if he's still recovering from his ACL injury but he can play up front or on the wing, still only 24. I reckon he's worth looking at.

Western Sydney Wanderers today announced the signing of Sanfrecce Hiroshima midfielder Yojiro Takahagi, just days after the arrival of defender Yusuke Tanaka from Kawasaki Frontale.

Great to see a few more Japanese players come to the HAL.
I've liked what I've seen of Tanaka.
