Commentators went remarkably easy on the Wellington Keeper at the end of Wellington vs Macarthur then. I know it's not reasonably to expect silky skills from a keeper who comes forward in the dying seconds, but the equalizing goal was right there for an unmarked tap in and he jumped over it trying to hit it with his hip or something.

I reckon we should introduce relegation right now.

I’m all for MV getting pumped 3-0 every week, but that red for Kamsoba was a bit harsh.
First yellow - the shortest guy on the field gets his foot waist height, and kicks the ball not the head (it seemed to me). But it was against Sydney, so definite yellow.
Second yellow - compared to the foul on Mauk? But it was against Sydney, so definite yellow.

The filth thrashed by SEVEN by MC Petrodollars. If we win tomorrow against Sadney, then this will officially be a PERFECT weekend.

Didn't want City to win but damn you love to see MV getting buried by 7 goals.

Makes it tough for anyone else chasing the golden boot and if goal difference decides the championship the 6-0 and 7-0 wins by City over victory will be the deciding factors.

I think City has the best run home but we get to play them which means we have a bit of destiny in our own hands.... and now I'm thinking of all our dropped points here and there haha.

Exciting run to the end.

Here's a thought BP - the rest of the season plays out and we jag the Premiership Plate by (say) 1 point with MC Petrodollars second (despite their massive GD). The semi final arrives and it's us against MC Petrodollars - and the whole competition knows that we are their Kryptonite. Now wouldn't that be quite an evening at a packed Hindmarsh .... :box:

Shades of 2016, a simpler time. I love it.

Wow. Every time you think Victory can't get any worse they get out the shovel and dig their hole a little deeper.

Brebner's gone, no surprises there. Victory's Board remains though, so the chances of a solid turn-around remain delightfully dim as ever.

Despite the win, it’s always nice to see MV ship 4 goals. 🤣
