Flag-Making Tutorial/Event - Volunteers

Postby Shane Tue Dec 14, 2010 7:07 pm

Hi All,

We're currently looking for people who are willing to write-up a simple flag-making tutorial for other supporters to follow.

The tutorial needs to be simple and contain the use of predominantly red material (that can be obtained from fabric stores such as spotlight)

This tutorial will be used in conjunction with organising a *huge* supporters march through the city for the Sydney/Melbourne matches that are upcoming in late December and early February. More to come on this.

Alternately, if anyone is willing to organise and hold a simple flag-making night(s) then this will be highly useful!

Your assistance is appreciated.

Cheers!

Shane.
Shano. Red to the core.

The Red Army hold semi-regular flag nights, usually on Tuesdays at a private warehouse in the North West Suburbs (10-15 minutes from town).

The next one will be Tuesday 21st December, please PM me for details. I'll post this elsewhere too.

Hoping to have 30 flags 1m x 1m (15 red, 15 yellow) finished for the Sydney game at Adelaide Oval as well as the large 2m x 2m flags that have been at Hindmarsh lately.

Its going to look great at the oval with the flags/ colour. It also will be different waving them in a mosh on the hill.
