I hope where ever he goes he's happy. I was so sad to see him leave AU he was such and fantastic player. Its amazing how long a yea in football is. One year you're club champion then next you're surplus to requirements Key word highlighted He had one really great season where he was probably one of...

Re: How to turn city of bad sports into great fans
Yeah let's populate a city which doesn't have enough water to supply the population it has now. Our roads are grid locked at peak hour. Our new citizens run around kniving each other because that's what they used to do back home. there there brawn, it'll be ok.. btw how many 'new citizens' do...

Re: Gold Coast United
Sydney want big names and flashing lights i think palmer could do it. Sydney FC do, that's their style. From everything I know and have heard about Western Sydney, that kind of approach is likely to die on its arse there - the key to W Sydney will be community, community, community - the AUFC/CCM m...

No Raging Rhinos, no MLS http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1a/Rhinoslogo.png Having a look at Wiki there are a shitload of big cities without teams - Miami, Atlanta, Detroit, Phoenix, San Francisco, San Diego, Minneapolis, Tampa, Baltimore, St Louis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas, Cincin...

Re: Lessons from MLS
Seems to be a pretty successful model, Montreal Impact (who have been playing in the USSL leagues) will be the next expansion team off the blocks. Really dependent on a functional 2nd tier for clubs to establish themselves though, don't know if you could do it via our state leagues (have Tasmania FC...

So, Fink has written a couple of articles of late tonguing the LA Galaxy's balls and suggesting that the A-League (particularly Sydney) need to follow their lead: http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/a-league/news/1049539/Hard-sell-a-must-in-the-A-League http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/a-league/news/104953...

Are you seriously trying to tell me Val wrote a lazy article based on nothing other than old news, his own imagination and a misguided journalistic hunch? HOW DARE YOU SIR

Re: Estrada??
Yep
Anyone know whether Estrada can play wide or would he be signed purely to do the sort of job Flores does now? Would they both fit into the team?

Well thank fuck for that. He was dire.Well that would be ridiculous. He was on a "6-month" one, until the end of the season.Really? Shit, must have missed that. I thought he was on a 2 year deal.Bodrusic is (thankfully) gone from our team.CB we have Boogaard/Mullen/Bodrusic.

Re: Major Signing Tomorow!!!!
Greg Griffin said when he came to Adelaide for the finals he saw Hindmarsh full, and that was probably what got him over the line. Its BS but i'll take a little credit for signing Brucey! I reckon he already knew he was moving here, probably explains the muted goal celebration & meeting with Rini a...

Re: Major Signing Tomorow!!!!
CB we have Boogaard/Mullen/Bodrusic. Watson @ RB is OK but it would be good to have a mirror image clone of Cassio to maraud up the right flank.. (actually it would be good to have Alemao back) Barbs the first backup option in midfield Left wing is our weakest point at the moment, I don't think eith...
