Re: Who's signed for next season
Are u really that naive, to believe that Carl only wants one player , he’s towing the line from the owners , I just don’t understand some of u supporters are happy to put up with this crap , maybe if we all called out the owners we might just get something done towards a better squad The same owner...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Do we only have three imports now? Lopez, Clough and Ibusuki? (Isaias is an Aussie?) If so, it’s not unreasonable to want to see two more imports this season. Looks like the best we can hope for is one now and one in January? (Plus I’d love to see Mauk back, but probably only happen once he’s avail...

Re: RE: Re: 2023-24 Preseason
A 1-0 win at home over WSW yesterday. The Wanderers had more chances but Barr scored late in the game. Two matches, two 1-0 wins, with both goals scored by defenders. Good results and pleased to see we've steadied after being dumped out of the Cup. However I'm a little concerned to read the (admitt...

Veart on Yull tonight: “I expect him to be a Socceroo by the end of the season”.
He’s not the only kid who I think will make a big impact.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Carl said in his presser yesterday that they are looking for an experienced attacker so they obviously are looking at replacing Goodwin. If we get that attacker, I think the squad is in good shape and finals should be the aim once again. But typically, we're leaving it to the last minute. I know we...

Re: Who's signed for next season
My mates 9 year old kid reckons Eden Hazard might be AU’s new left winger. Now if that occurred on a free, what would the general consensus be from the AU fan base who have been going spare at the club recently?… I highly doubt it would ever happen but I would be open to the idea if he’s doesn’t de...

Re: Who's signed for next season
From the forum this week, club apparently pocketed 1.4 million for Goody, sees Tunnicliffe as a squaddie as opposed to starter. Sounds unlikely we will see any more signings as the faith is all in the kids. In other words, owners are tight, pocketed the goody fee and don’t really care by the sounds...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Pretty sure Keepup manages the club websites so it's probably an error on their end.Hi folks, anyone have an idea as to why there is a video on Adelaide United's web site featuring Archie Goodwin?

Re: RE: Re: Who's signed for next season
Terrible signing, we already have one useless English visa player now we have a second Who were you expecting us to sign then? [emoji23] It's been established over a number of years we have no money and can't compete with other clubs so have to wait until transfer windows are closed to pick up free...

Re: Who's signed for next season
On paper it sounds like the midfielder we need. But of an old fashioned bruiser by all reports. Hoping he can be that key man to give us a presence in midfield and screen the back four. Welcome Ryan! Also seems like a technically good number 8 too. This is a really good article on him: https://link...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Tunnicliffe has 250+ games of Championship experience and has played 60 league games over the last two years with Portsmouth. I think it’s fair to say he’s an upgrade on D’Arrigo.
He’s 30 too so he’s at a good age. I’m happy with the signing.
