Re: Who's signed for next season

Serious question. So giving how many ppl bag Djite for not scoring enough goals, given he gets enough game time to do so, lets assume he starts over Bruce, how many goals are you expecting Babalj to score? If babalj or bruce can hold the ball up well enough to put our wings and attacking mids in a ...

Serious question. So giving how many ppl bag Djite for not scoring enough goals, given he gets enough game time to do so, lets assume he starts over Bruce, how many goals are you expecting Babalj to score? IMO an amount of goals isn't important as I feel the club scored enough last season. Its abou...

I am not convinced Babalj will be any better than Djite but signing him shows that Gombau is ...

Re: Who's signed for next season

It certainly sounds stupid for Jeggo or other players to be upset at the decisions but given the club and players have just been in a pay dispute maybe things are getting blown up out of nothing.

Re: Who's signed for next season

Strong Australian players should be the most important players in the league as they come from a much smaller pool of players. Every team should be able to attract five good quality foreign players, I know they don't, but they should. If we can add a couple of very strong Australian players then it ...

Re: Who's signed for next season

Kamau is good enough for an off the bench role in my opinion but he struggled in his only start against Sydney when Petkovic out muscled him and he did not have smarts to find another way. Hopefully he has learnt a lot from that game.
How good is Smith and is he really a winger?

Re: Who's signed for next season

Heres hoping Troisi isn't out of our price range. Pretty sure Juventus bought him simply to develop him a little bit more and then sell him for as much as possible. Josep should go for either Babalj or Demetriou on loan. Maybe they could get Troisi on loan. Troisi could be a replacement for Mabil b...

Re: Who's signed for next season

Rukavytsya is a lot better player than he showed at WSW and would be a good pick up. With us now needing to sign more than one player Cooper could be worth a spot as well although I doubt he is going to be anything more than a squad player this year.

Re: Who's signed for next season

What does everyone think of La Rocca? Seems a mile off the pace to me. I guess still finding his feet in a very different system.
Too early to be judging everyone, I am not a fan of the signing by any means, but lets be fair to him and give him a chance before sinking the boots into him.

Re: Who's signed for next season

I haven't seen a direct quote from Josep with the word "striker". My tip is another winger.
Please a big bodied winger/striker.
I don't see the need for big bodied, I would prefer a pacey striker with a great eye for goal over another Djite type player.

Re: Who's signed for next season

Hello FCM, welcome Awer Mabil is regarded as a talented young player who still needs a lot of work. I would not say he is the biggest talent in the league (Daniel Da Silva who is now with Roma would hold that title from last season), but his selection for the Australian under 20s shows he is regarde...

Re: Who's signed for next season

I think holy trinity is Holland, Belgium, and Bundsalegia 2 as they are viewed as being better development leagues compared to England, Scotland and even Italy.

Re: Who's signed for next season

On the plus side, this allows Pablo Sanchez to be a regular in the starting eleven, like he should be. Too good to be sitting on the bench. Best of luck to Mabil, maybe in a couple years he can get a contract with a holy trinity club! Pablo Sanchez should be in the starting XI as the striker in the...
