Re: Macarthur FC v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Agree with Mcjules here, it's not panic stations yet. We let Azarni off the leash for a bit and it cost the game. Between Blackwood and Ibusuki we had the chances to win. Thought the subs were ok but where was Clough? And how does Alagich get a run ahead of Yull. We went in to the season with too ma...

Re: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
I'd have taken a point before, so have to be happy with that from a goal down, especially with half a dozen out. We just need to accumulate points in the first month, we get a good run in January and need to be hitting our straps then. Clough is close, so close to being a very good player but so far...

Looks a makeshift XI given Harry VDS seems to be starting right wing.

Re: Nathan Konstandopoulos to depart Adelaide United
What's the goss on Carl and Smith? Smith started the first 9 games of the 20/21 season before being “rested” and never played for the club again. He didn’t perform badly in those games so it can’t have been performance related. I dunno, it seemed to me like Smith wanted to do what he wanted to do. ...

Re: Nathan Konstandopoulos to depart Adelaide United
I'd be passionate about this one if I thought he was a descent footballer. Reality is, the guy couldn't get a game ahead of the ageing Spaniards or the youth that's passed him by. He's a squadie that's spurned almost every chance he's had. Izzo Timotheau N.Smith Barnett Konstandopolouds Juric Izzo a...

But of 90s revival in that collar, I'm a fan. Don't love the deep red but there's only so many ways you can go season-on-season, the integrated rather than badged sponsors are great too.
This one looks made for the fan, ideal casual wear.

That's the top line, but I can't imagine the hire fee of both stadiums is the same.An extra 2,000 tickets (minimum) at say $10 average price = $20,000.
Is that money that City can turn down?

Against the grain but I'd love to see a full house at Marden for this one.
What's capacity there? 4k? You'll get maybe 6-7k at an empty construction site of Hindmarsh.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Katroumbis to Perth, didn't see that one coming.
Maybe a timing thing, maybe wage demands but at the start of the off-season a CB/RB local lad would have been a great get.
We have Van Der Saag and Lopez at RB now and Warland-Barr-Popovic across CB.
Still can't help but feel it's one that got away.

Wonderful news.
Completely changes the side with the ability to change a game.
Hope he sees out the three years and more, a true club legend.

Re: Who's signed for next season
I'm not sure Izzo had a heap of options, controversial but he wouldn't be first choice here so I don't begrudge him tbh.
Gauci won't go to Qatar whilst Arnie is in charge, but he'd be ahead of Izzo in my pecking order.
