Re: Melbourne Victory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!
Not sure if previously mentioned but would like to make note of our change of tactics which worked brilliantly. Often when we play MV in Melbourne the game is played at 100 miles an hour which often results in us going a goal down early. Right from the first minutes Euge was slowing play down, takin...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Petrillo always loved Ozzie so I would imagine he played a big part in getting him across the border.
He would also know that the potential for transfer fees on Mauk in the future would have helped get the deal through the AUFC board room!

Re: Malik to city, williams to aufc
You can be sure that if we are required to pay any transfer fee then there is zero chance of us doing it.
If we had any budget for transfers Josep would still be in charge!

Re: Is Bruce Djite in trouble?
Would really like to see some of the kids get a run. When things arent going well it is a good time to blood some young guys who have enthusiasm and nothing to lose. Unfortunately the flip side is when a manager fears for his job he usually sticks to proven players knowing the chance of a blow out r...

I also asked about the lack of subs but didn't get through.
I think a few journos have the question loaded for his next presser so we will see. I just don't get it though

Re: New CEO
I wish Grant all the best. His biggest challenge will come from above. Will he have the freedom and support of the Chairman to do what he sees fit or will he be dictated to by Griffin? Has anyone noticed how outspoken Griffin has been in the media on almost every issue in the past few months? The cl...

Re: Membership 2015/16
I finally have my international membership. The only way to buy an international membership is by putting your country of residence as "Australia" which could cause all sorts of grief if you also buy merchandise :yellow: Hopefully next year we can find a company that can get the basics right regard...

Re: Membership 2015/16
Its interesting that CH7 so often seem to be involved in advertising with AU but I find its rarely much more then promotional videos. Sometimes I wonder who's promoting who? Its part of a contra sponsorship deal with 7, they commit free advertising spots including production and the club give them ...

Re: Melbourne Victory v Adelaide United FFA Cup Day Jamboree
Did the commentators mention why we only used one sub? At the ground I couldn't understand the logic given we were effectively chasing the game for an hour? Surely it was the right time to give some of the younger guys a run? I would have liked to see Mells get a run but I guess its a case of who w...

Re: When will Adelaide United finally get one over the Victo
I know when we will be a chance to beat them in Melbourne. When we change our attitude. Its the same every time, they press us really hard all over the game, they are physical and we don't like it. We make mistakes trying to pass around the back and we go down to easily looking for soft fouls. The r...
