Re: Adelaide United v WS Wanderers Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Weird, weird game. Looked quite creative around the box, Isaias was back to form, Cavallo, Halloran & Clough all dangerous (anyone know about the Cavallo injury? Hope nothing too bad). Goodwin not at his most threatening best, but his interplay with Kitto as usual was terrific. I reckon Kitto is in ...

As for Bruce, I think he'll rue the day. His free market, neo-lib ideals won't run far in this town, he was better suited to running a football club.
I reckon we'll see him preselected for the Libs one of these days.

Re: Preview: Adelaide United-Melbourne Victory -14.01.23

on one hand, we smashed them 3-0 last time out.
on the other hand, we got smashed 4-0 last weekend.
on one hand, it's the Filth at Hindmarsh.
on the other hand, it's 37C that day.

somebody tell me whether I should be looking forward to this or not

Re: Adelaide United v Perth Glory Match Day Jamboree!!!©

yeah that looked like a clear handball in real time at the ground, I would not have been surprised at a pen, but Perth players didn't shout for it and everyone just kept playing

Re: Adelaide United v Perth Glory Match Day Jamboree!!!©

that's a fair assessment I reckon Mike! Watching the highlights though we had some really lovely moves.. if Clough's header off that early counterattack had gone in it would have been a great goal, same with Isaias' shot that rattled the bar from outside the box. Juande and Isaias were on form (Pert...

Re: Adelaide United v Perth Glory Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Really liked watching Madanha. Great attacking intent (could be punished against a better team though). I wonder if the 'inverted wing back' runs into the centre of the park with Halloran staying wide were a specific strategy, or that's just his natural game?

Completely agree EdDog, it's a tough on the other Victory supporters but there has to be genuine consequences this time round.

Re: A-League Men 2022/23

It's always the filth fans who spoil it for the whole competition. They have always been brain dead morons. The ONLY fan violence at any AUFC match is ALWAYS caused by the filth fans. We've all noted before how the SAPOL presence at AUFC matches triples when the filth play at Hindmarsh, complete wi...
