Re: AUFC v MVFC

Chilly that photo is a classic!

That pic at the end with Cassio and Huge - those celebrations (by Cas in particular) were directed squarely at the MV supporters.

Some amazing scenes.

Re: Sydney FC v AUFC

That's 3 big outs for Dudney. Although Emmo is pretty avg these days. Disappointing from a Soceroos perspective that Culina is on the outer. Always rated him as a player and person. If we get up or this one it should be a win but that's certainly been our problem all year - maintaining the rage. Oft...

I'll be heading along. Not sure how long I can stay - hoping it goes for no more than an hour.

Re: Rumour of a new striker on the way

Apparently A Vidmar liked the look of him too.

Article says he's a striker who can also play on the wing.

I know where I'd be playing him. Bye bye Evan.

Re: AUFC v MVFC

Yeah that was a load of mindless dribble. I imagine something akin to football news? Never been on there myself.

Re: Evan K

He's started an inordinate number of games for very, very little return. It's outrageous that he is a guaranteed starter yet he is consistently our worst player.

I just don't get it.

Re: My casual chat with Micky V

I like Micky V's passion for AU and his ability to fire up the lads - I just doubt his tactical nous. If we get a new head coach from outside the club next year (which I for one hope we do) it would be good if he stays on as an assistant or some similar role. Good to hear he likes Fyfe and Golec at ...

Re: Evan K

By far our worst player on Friday. He simply isn't up to HAL standard. If Ferriera doesn't push him straight to the bench when he's back fit, then obviously Mr V is blind too. I guess the rumour about his Dad being mates with the AU coaching staff are true?? No other reason I can think of him being ...

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne Yrotciv - Match Day Jamboree

Our defence was superb. It should be remain our backline for the rest of the season. Some of those lunging blocks from Golec and Fyfe's perfectly timed tackle on Rojas when he was through on goal in stoppage time were highlights for me. Cassio had his game of the season and Malik looked the good at ...

Malik at RB worked a treat.

And Bowles looks 10x better at RW.

What a performance.

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne Yrotciv - Match Day Jamboree

Fantastic response - never looked like losing. Wish we played with that much hunger every week. Malik at RB - keep him there. Solid as a rock. McKain in CDM - best performance by an invididual player ALL SEASON. Defence 10/10 - no Boogard, no cheap goals. For once Huge barely had to make a save! Cas...

Re: Fan's player of the HAL season (Rd20)

Malik looked the goods at right back.

And without Boogard out, MV never looked like scoring.

McKain was in Flores face all night. He has been what we have needed all season.

Went with McKain, Cassio & Vido.
