I am far from surprised to see him sign elsewhere, I guess the realities of lack of money limited the offer.
The rumors that he was not impressed with the club are more disappointing than that we could not match a monetary offer from the big spending Chinese clubs.

Re: How can the Red Army be improved?
Any changes need to be motivated by the membership itself. Fans on the outside have no business interfering. A fan attending a game should be gaining enjoyment from the the game and should not need to rely on the actions of other fans to help them enjoy the game. Anything that does occur should be l...

Re: Preview: AUFC v Newcastle 31/01/01
How can Pablo not be in the starting XI for this game? He is playing well, he is a goal scorer and it is Cirio's first game back from injury. Pablo must start.

Re: ACL 2016
We are not going to win the premiership, so if we make the group stage and are relatively safe in the top six lets put our best team out for acl Such negativity. We are only 7 points off first, it is still possible, we just need to keep winning. If we win and Melbourne City win this week it is only...

Re: Who's signed for next season
I think any transfer fee claims made by anyone are just a guess. Pretty much. The club has been very secretive about transfers fees lately which imo is dissapointing from a fans perspective. I think fans have a right to know how much was made from the sale of our favourite players, its not as if we...

Re: Who's signed for next season
He was a real workhorse cleaning up in midfield and providing excellent play with it. Mauk will not bring the same defensive side to the side if he replaces Jeggo and Mells probably does not have the endurance at 18 to do it either. With no Malik or Jeggo, La Rocca (except Marrone theoretically) is ...

Re: Who's signed for next season
It seemed to be suggested that Perth got told no and Taggart was not going to come back to the A-league so I am quite skeptical about our chances of signing him.
What an idiot.Taggart has moved to Perth apparently.

Re: Adelaide United Stats
And one of them was a penalty for a clear dive, and we had a debut keeper in one of the games.4 goals against without malik playing in those 8 games. I think we will be fineDoes anyone have a ladder from the last 8 games only?

Re: Who's signed for next season
While the concerns might be genuine, maybe he would overlook them if a bit of extra money fell his way.Thought money wasn't really the sticking point but "other" issues with the club culture etc as reported by someone on this forum.
Still I think we have no chance.

Re: Ozzie bids Reds fans farewell.
This is a very fair swap.I want to know why he left... surely the club didnt just accept mauk. Because if they did we got screwed.
secondly, this whole man City thing is starting to become worrying. they're just buying up all the talent in the aleague.

Re: George Mells
He is an 18 year old in his first few games against adults, it is highly likely he will show us much more than he has so far if he is given another season. If we do qualify for the ACL all five of Isaias, Carrusca, Jeggo, Mells and Mauk will be needed to start some games in the rest of this season. ...

Re: George Mells
Definitely must be resigned. Only 18, playing well in our midfield, will have had a year learning how we play, can only get better, we only have limited options in the middle even with Mauk coming in, will be a handy transfer fee when he leaves. Give him 3 years with a good transfer fee as part of t...

Re: Eli Babalj
I am guessing the physio found the knee moved in a way that is not normally possible with an intact ACL as the ligaments are what are supposed to hold the knee together.
Does not sound good at all. However ACLs are usually able to be recovered from and most players return very well.
