Re: Who's signed for next season
When fit elsey walks back in. However I feel Boland and Troisi need to earn a starting berth , d’argio is more than capable, I would consider him a starter , with troisi likely to earn a spot in the 11 I cant see a way in for boland given the energy we have in midfield I would actually prefer Lia o...

Re: FFA CUP FINAL! Adelaide United v Melbourne City 2019/2020
Bloody brilliant to watch, even if it was from my couch. That goal from Toure was never a cross, he looked up saw Bouzanis was well of his line, put his head down took the touch and lashed it near post. As great as that goal was i was more impressed with his hold up play and defence splitting passes...

Re: Who's signed for next season
I reckon if we were to sign Troisi, it would/should be to play him as a second striker. Play either a 442 or a 352.

Re: Marco Kurz
It's really interesting how divided opinions are on Marco. I would have been fine with Marco being renewed but the direction Piet has outlined for the club has my support. They have to show they're making progress towards delivering it though... what is this direction Piet has outlined for the club...

Re: Marco Kurz
Marco Kurz is a coach that coaches to win, clear as day winning isn't a priority for our new owners.

Re: Who's signed for next season
How’s this from AP, the cheek on him: “I’m very excited for that (signing for Western),’’ Stamatelopoulos said. “I was talking to my agent (Tony Rallis), he said “it’s a good opportunity for me to like grow as a player, as a person, to move away from home, to be more independent.” “When contracts w...

If Ilso is a 'viking' then he's the one who's asleep at the back of the boat when the raids are on. Insipid is kind. Crap is fair. We played a few minutes of beautiful football tonight but you simply can't win a game when you have Ilso not playing, Mileusnic so out of touch that he's virtually an o...

Re: AUFC marketing 2018
I put my lack of attendance down to not knowing who owns the club, why they own the club and what the clubs purpose is.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Mitchell Duke is leaving his J-League club and hasn't announced any destination yet, i know he's been playing as a winger but he started life as a Center Forward and is a big strong lad. Could possibly do well with his size and pace up front for an a-league club.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Guiseppe Rossi is a free agent and a quality signing if he stayed injury free. Could be a realistic target for an A-League club.

Re: FFA Cup Final: AUFC v Sydney
WOOOP! Only managed to watch about 30 mins of the whole game but saw all the goals and the final whistle, looked and sounded like the joint was rocking nicely. Nice to see Goody do what was hoped he would do when he came back, he looks a so much more polished player from when he left. Hopefully he c...

a lot of issues and interesting points from that game but the biggest concern for me is Isias, looks woefully out of form and causing the most issues for the team in build up play with poor decision making and execution.

Re: New rectangular stadium in Adelaide?
The best place for any new inner city stadium is still to the immediate west of Adelaide Oval. The infrastructure and access already exists. Anything west of Montefiore Road (i.e. the golf course) is a no-go. Personally i reckon Park 25 in the corner of west terrace and port road would be the perfe...
