AFAIK the club isn't allowed to be providing him financial support when he isn't eligible to play for us. It's annoying as we could have kept him to replace Cirio while injured and potentially have had his citizenship sorted for a January signing.

O'Doherty clearly has the pace to be a winger, agree that Kitto doesn't quite have that as part of his repertoire. Would be interesting to see him replace Makarounas in midfield I guess.

I don't want Makarounas to start against MV solely because his decision making around the box isn't up to scratch yet. Having said that I would worry about him taking it the wrong way and dropping form.
