Re: WS Wanderers v Adelaide United Australia Cup Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Wide open down the flanks. We look like we’re playing 4-2-4 with Goodwin and Bernardo too high to ever get back and Clough playing very high as well, leaving Isaias and Yull completely outnumbered and overwhelmed in midfield. Despite the numbers up high, we also have no high press and no turnovers, ...

Re: WS Wanderers v Adelaide United Australia Cup Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Our passing and ball control in possession has been poor so far. Preseason, I know, but skill levels should be higher than this, surely.

Re: Women's World Cup 2023
In the end, it looks like we played our grand final in the quarter final.
A magnificent effort to make the semis. Well done Matildas! Proud.
England and Sweden were too good, especially without Kennedy and with Kerr returning from injury to 3 games in a week.

Re: Women's World Cup 2023
Started shaky at the back, before finally settling into the game. We gave away a few good chances, but created the best chances of the game for ourselves, and had the French defence looking uncertain themselves.
Looking forward to the second half.

Re: Membership 2023/24
I’ve decided to upgrade to Premium Red 8 game membership. An extra 4 bucks a game to sit under cover with a side view (back where i used to sit). Take my money! You'll have to sit in one of the end bays of the upper tier to be under cover as I don't think the lower tier is covered by the roof. Yep....

Australia v Argentina
Hoping our young inexperienced squad can make a good game of it. To play against Messi (even just in a friendly) will be something to tell their grandchildren one day.

Re: Craig Goodwin
Well done Goody! Deserved winner.
And enough time has passed since Flores went to Victory that I can overlook it and just remember how good he was for us.
What I wouldn't give to have a 10 of his calibre now.

Re: 2023 Grand Final
Incredible!
CCM ended up doing doing to City EXACTLY what they did to us ..... except worse.
Good luck to them. They deserved to win.

2023 Grand Final
CCM have done to Melb City exactly what they did multiple times to us. Soak up pressure, quick break, one on one brilliance / speed to score two goals before half time. But City have done what we couldn’t and got themselves back in the game. Great first half for the neutrals. More in the crowd than ...

Re: CC Mariners v Adelaide United Semi-Final Second Leg 2023 Match Day Jamboree!!!©
I reckon the club has been pretty transparent about what their strategy is: 1. Bring young players through with a preference for local products 2. Aim for top 3 or 4 every year So far they've been doing that, the club has an identity again and going by crowd size and general vibes it seems to be a ...

Re: CC Mariners v Adelaide United Semi-Final Second Leg 2023 Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Semi-finals 3 years in a row is a pretty good achievement IMO.
Of course we want another title, we just can’t expect it or demand it.
We can’t draw bigger crowds.
We can’t draw the big sponsorship dollars.
A ‘City Group’ type buyer would probably go for a club in a bigger market.
It is what it is.
