Re: Adelaide United v Wellington Phoenix Match Day Jamboree!!!©

What did we think of the formation used? For me it was kind of a lopsided 442 or 4222 - Kitto clearly tasked with providing all the width on the left with Clough tucking in more centrally in attack, and Nestory an out and out winger on the right hand side... ------------------------------Deli-------...

Re: Adelaide United v CC Mariners Match Day Jamboree!!!©

yeah 3-0 did flatter us a bit!
On the other hand we could have had a couple more goals if not for some great Vukovic saves, too

Re: Adelaide United v CC Mariners Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Great performance and the kids are looking good! Yull , Nestory, Madanha, Popovic all excellent as starters. some of the players that had a slightly rough time last season at times (Halloran, Clough) performed really well. Isaias great as the anchor man - at his best when he can sit in that deep rol...

Re: Who's signed for next season

From Cornthwaite on Twitter: My understanding is that the club is closing in on two foreign signings, with an announcement hopefully not too far away. Fans have been crying out for something new in the front third, and they could soon be getting their wish. A versatile attacking option and another c...

Re: Membership 2023/24

I'm a member through the bad times and the good, but I don't begrudge anyone for waning interest when owners seem to have so little respect for the club and its fans.

Re: Goodwin

Imagine positioning yourself as the 'people's club' and pulling this rubbish. We've always run on a tight budget and I can cop that, but players being treated in the way they have is a disgrace.
Time for revolution, comrades

Re: WSW sign Lachlan Brook

Brook has so much potential and was just starting to show it when he went overseas. Massive bummer he's heading elsewhere

Re: Women's World Cup 2023

You got your wish Marty! England were brilliant last night (esp James). I feel for China given how good their supporters are at Hindmarsh but they went into that game with completely the wrong approach and deserved to be on the wrong end of a hiding. Also ... VAR is a fucking scourge at every level ...

Re: Women's World Cup 2023

Even if Australia get knocked out in the group stage the tournament has captured the imagination. Full stadiums all over the country. England-China tomorrow night will be huge at Hindmarsh (would have sold out Adelaide Oval easily, imo).

It's just a shame Matildas under Gustavsson are so average.
