Oh please, no visa! It'd be hilarious if he didn't get clearance

Biggest facepalm. :bang:

We all knew it though.

Also, I edited the original post of this thread, improved the accuracy.

Re: Adelaide United v Wanderers, Rnd 2.

The Mars Bar is pretty decent for most away fans. But generally, home pubs aren't always the best option for away supporters. Not for an inaugural match anyway.

Re: If Adelaide had a second team...

I ponder this too at times. The only geographical place where you could have a half-successful second HAL team is in the northern suburbs.

Definitely go with Adelaide City, for the name. I would remain an AU supporter for the rest of my days, though; I know I am, I'm sure I am, United 'til I die!

Re: Reds eye The Parks as new home base and training centre

Adelaide is nice, but boring. No excitement, especially for the younger age groups who are all looking to higher wages interstate. Years of bureaucracy from successive state governments in which next to nothing has been done to help the state progress forward, has also been a killer.

Re: Reds to trial foreign duo

Good thing is that it's a real person, shared sentiment. Also, be glad that, if he were a fruit, he would in fact not be a lemon, a dud. Rather, he would be a grape - pretending to be a pineapple.

Re: Reds to trial foreign duo

That 'website' link of his on his profile leads nowhere; non-existent.

Re: Reds to trial foreign duo

Apparently he's been training with Sydney FC's physio, as opposed to Sydney itself. It seems he expects to be ready 'around' Round 1-5.

It sure seems that it's Perez. But don't anyone get excited yet.
