Kosmina speaks- http://m.heraldsun.com.au/sport/football/the-day-i-knew-it-was-over-with-adelaide-united/story-e6frfg8x-1226567389671 Great to hear his side of the story, and fair enough too. Respect Kossie. HANG ON !!! Griffen told us in his presser they were not bringing in new players and was su...

Re: Kosmina quits Adelaide United

The whole Serge situation was ridiculous. Hopefully a lesson learnt.

Kossie wants to be portrayed as a martyr. Won't give him that just yet.

Re: Kosmina quits Adelaide United

Yeah I feel they need better people to front the media. Kossie was good for that though. I can only assume that Elliot and Petrillo are not comfortable with it so it is being left to Griffin. I don't feel Petrillo should be made to do it. I can't see him offering much more incite to football operat...

Re: Kosmina quits Adelaide United

Looking at the posts on here, I wonder how many of you have been on boards or at least interacted with them? They are supposed to be completely hands off about these sorts of things. You appoint a CEO like Glenn Elliot to handle the day to day running of things (from a corporate side of things) and ...

The more things change the more things stay the same.

Re: Kosmina quits Adelaide United

Angry at Kossie, angry at the club. All I want some stability at the club and I feel it will never happen. Last time I felt this way was last time Kossie got sacked. Nothing to do with Kossie himself but just felt the club was a shambles. Since then we've had some highs and lows so I have no doubt ...

Re: Kosmina quits Adelaide United

Ray Gatt ‏@Gatty54 Michael Valkanis will take over Adelaide United coaching. Will be given a two year deal I'm disillusioned about this, however what if this is what happened: 1. Petrillo wasn't that happy with Kossie's performance and made recommendations to board not to give him a long term deal ...

Re: CentralCoast Mariners v Adelaide United Match Day Jambor

I agree - so why not recognise this - put another CM in so that we have some distribution through the mid - what good are our gun forwards if they can't get the ball? For 70 minutes tonight we persisted with that crap - I ask, why no change? Why no sub at half time? There's no back up, no plan B. I...

Re: CentralCoast Mariners v Adelaide United Match Day Jambor

You know - we actually looked okay when McKain came on for Kosto (who was utterly useless) because we then had an actual midfield and distribution to our forwards. Before it was a 4-1-5 formation and that one midfielder was so deep that the forwards were so far disconnected it wasn't funny. I don't...

Re: CentralCoast Mariners v Adelaide United Match Day Jambor

Pains me no end to be right, but we've reached top of the wave of talent and tactics. Other sides have now worked us out and now just know how to beat us easily. Yep we can't execute the game plan well enough to overcome other teams pressing us in an organised way. Questions need to be asked What t...

Re: will the Coolen settlement effect future signings?

It wont affect anything as we have already made two new signings for next season from our NYL squad. Time for these players to start stepping up IMO, Kosta is slowly making the transition. The others arent even close. How Barbs gets a start before Melling is beyond me. Let's all jump on the Melling...

Re: Serg's replacement

I think Burns has a few years left on his contract. Having seen Del Piero's impact and being a Roma fan myself I'd love to see us get this man fgIzXucMk2E I know, wishful thinking but I think he'd be a hit here in Adelaide (or anywhere) :D If we can't get him a RB would be great though Bowles is sti...

Re: Heart v Reds

Personally I feel Kossie likes Barbs because he's a local battler.
I also feel this is the case with Fyfe who has been out of form for a while (with a little bit of the fact that he is "experienced".
