Re: Who's signed for next season

Channel 10 reported the other day that Javi is staying another season while Blackwood is gone.

Re: WSW sign Lachlan Brook

As far as South Aussies go, we potentially have enough wingers to fill 4 squads. Can't sign them all sadly.
Yeah we have Goody, Benny, Nestor, Bernardo and Panashe already. No room for him unfortunately.

Re: Who's signed for next season

Dylan Pereais (?) from Western United would be a very good pick up. Cover for Kitto as I think Carvahlo’s days are numbered, too many injuries.
Rumours are that he’s off to WSW and he’s very much a right winger nowadays.

Re: Who's signed for next season

Gee if the owners don’t sign some decent players in the off season we are going to be in trouble , going to miss juanda , at least he could hold the ball up
We have around 20+ players contracted so we should be fine.

Re: Preview: Reds v Brisbane - 4 Feb 2023

Another important game at home. No Juande and presumably Blackwood for this one. Should get it done. Gauci Lopez-Ansell-Popa-Kitto Isa-D'Arrigo Clough Halloran-Hiro-Goody Warland, Alagich, Yull, Irankunda, Cavallo, Delianov Decent first 11 but boy do we look thin. When are Barnardo and VDS back? Be...

Re: Preview: Adelaide United - Perth Glory 02/01/2023

Ben Halloran returning is a big positive. Would be nice to get a timeframe for some of our injuries from the club especially our injured CBs. I think we need some rotation back there to freshen things up, the Barr/Popovic pairing hasn't been impressing. Lopez needs a rest too but VDS is also injure...

Re: Preview: Adelaide United - Perth Glory 02/01/2023

Really enjoying Cornthwaites corner articles this year. Honest and realistic reviews of the performance and squad. As per his preview, AU should beat PG tomorrow but can you trust this AU team? IMO, keys last week summed it up, you just can’t trust the reds to get the job done. Not many have improv...

Re: Pacifique

Good on him! How's he been going with Perth? (gonna be honest here I haven't really watched any of them this season yet) I just googled Elvis Kamsoba too, because I had no idea what he'd been up to - fair to say he didn't really set the world on fire at Melbourne or Sydney but he's popped up at Sep...

Re: Adelaide United v Perth Glory Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Blackwood had a torrid time in front of goal but he put in a good shift I thought. He won the ball back 3 or 4 times, used his body really effectively, and occupied his defenders really well . Which was all very un-Blackwood like tbh. Basically, he did exactly what Ibesuki had been doing. Whether o...

Re: Preview: Adelaide United - Perth Glory 30.10.22

Perth will be a much tougher proposition than last season but I think we should still get our first win of the season.

Would be tempted to start Barr if he’s available but would otherwise keep the same XI.

Would also bring Mori onto the bench while Kasumovic and Jovanovic drop out.

Re: Macarthur FC v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Agree with Mcjules here, it's not panic stations yet. We let Azarni off the leash for a bit and it cost the game. Between Blackwood and Ibusuki we had the chances to win. Thought the subs were ok but where was Clough? And how does Alagich get a run ahead of Yull. We went in to the season with too m...
