Re: RE: Re: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Microcosm of our season. Great first half (albeit we didn't score at all) and the second half was indescribably hideous. Something has to change. Maybe Mark Milligan can go home to wherever he comes from and someone with some sense can coach the defence. I was there with my sons today. My 18 year o...

Re: Macarthur FC v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Basic, schoolkid issues. Too many heroes and not enough foot soldiers. One at the back at 3-2 up? Well....that says something about leadership on the field. The captain and the person supposed to be marshalling the defence should both be docked match pay. Ludicrous. Nestor was playing for himself - ...

Re: Western United v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
One issue with Isa being with us is that he's still the best, but he's no longer always good enough. Any player in the crucial number 6 position has to have a run of games and needs to work out communication with the others. Tunnicliffe 'might' be that player. Barnett will be, all being well. Barne...

Re: Western United v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
There is no question that we need to sort out what is happening that is allowing great holes to open in midfield and causing our defenders to rely on last-ditch challenges - and brilliant saves. But that's where we are right now. It's been a problem for over a year. One issue with Isa being with us ...

I'm with sevengoals on this one. Joe G is a part of the team. He happens to be very good so that's......great! We have a history of great keepers. Teams have to play to their strengths. We have some great young talent and it'll always be a bit raw - because it is. Popovic was IMMENSE. Back to his be...

4-1 to us. Chance to go outright top. At home against a side that have been rubbish. New coach bounce will not happen.
All entirely hopeful!!!

Re: Melbourne Victory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Great to see Hiro score. He tore strips off Nestor at half-time. Justifiably. Both Nestor cards were very dubious refereeing but if we expect anything else after all these years we're kidding ourselves. I thought Bruce Djite summed it up perfectly in the after match conversations. The fact that Arch...

A great doco. Having been there since the first season, I was amazed by some of the memories and the players I'd forgotten. Some brilliant nights at Hindmarsh/Coopers....not least the last game we played. Have to save that for the next doco!

Absolutely brilliant result. Carl worked some magic. The young boys did fabulously.
If not for Vukovic we would have won 6-0. Mind you, if not for Gauci we would have won 6-3. Both keepers exceptional.
A great first night out at Coopers. Even when I was watching from Bali!

The ladies lose 2-1. Probably the right score, even though I don't like it. CCM win first game back in the LAL. They were faster and their passing sharper than ours. After going down 2-0 we did some good work to get back in it but you have to take your chances. Our keeper didn't do well for the firs...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Well......rather than deciding that he's complete shit or the answer to all our problems, I might just wait and watch him play. Because he's signed now, and when he wears the RED, he's one of us. There's no question he's a seasoned pro at a level above most of our boys, but will he cut it? Who knows...
