Re: Perth Glory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Should be a win to us .... but then, that is what I said last week too. It's a bit of a banana skin in truth.

Re: Adelaide United v Western United Match Day Jamboree!!!©

WU will park the bus with a back 5 now and give us all the possession we want ... and stop everything we try; exactly as the Jest beat us at home a couple of months ago.

A good old fashioned smashing of a second rate team would be most welcome right now. Over to you, lads ...

Re: Preview: Adelaide United - Western United 16.04.23

The APL are as short sighted and self interested as the old FFA. It's difficult to see any benefit to the game on selling the GF - especially as the real benefit to the teams is winning the premiership, with the associated entry into Asia. Yes, I know that they will receive a $20m cheque from the NS...

Re: Preview: Adelaide United - Western United 16.04.23

On paper, this is a routine win for us, but we have the unfortunate habit of dropping matches to teams below us that we really ought to win. If we do win and MC Petrodollars contrives to lose against CCM, then the title will remain open for at least one more round.

Re: Veart you dummy...

100% he is lucky to see out 15 minutes, have a good look at him after a run he is blowing like a hurricane, but it also puts the team under pressure because he doesn’t chase back as hard as he should . Which makes me wonder is he training full time with the team or is he still at school and doing l...

Re: RE: Veart you dummy...

The most exciting talent the A League has seen in years yet genius Veart continues to leave him on the bench too long today to make any impact. "He's not ready for a full game yet" says Carl! Rubbish, any other team would have him on from the start to inflict as much damage as possible Wasn't the g...

Re: Adelaide United v Sydney FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

If that is the best that Sadney can do, then they are in dire trouble. Their goal was a fluked goal mouth scramble - which may even have come off a Red leg. We lost the midfield in the second half, once Jay Barnett went off and looked like the AU of the first 1/3rd of the season - unsure, defensive,...

Re: Adelaide United v Sydney FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

I'm with you Otto - I reckon that this is the best that Ben Halloran has played in months. His time on the bench has done him good. Most of our best chances have been from the combination of him with Clough. Sadney have decided that they can't beat us in a helter-skelter run at everything open game,...

Re: Adelaide United v Sydney FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Must be sold out! I just tried to buy tickets online and the only options available were standing tickets in the GA. Unbelievable ... I've been looking forward to this all week ...

Re: Adelaide United v Sydney FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©

We all want to see a packed Coopers and to be part of that cauldron atmosphere. Let's send these arrogant, overpaid underachievers back to the worst city in Australia with their tails between their sky blue legs - and their gaffer sacked, to boot. Corica's days are numbered and he could be out of a ...

Re: Adelaide United - General Issues and Discussion

And thus the wheel of fortune turns ... Roy Hodgson back at Crystal Palace ... and our own CV has just signed a 3 year contract extension. Let's hope that the AUFC old/new owners gave him a decent pay rise. He is the best gaffer in the league.

Re: A-League Men 2022/23

It's very strange to watch a filth match ... and actually want them to win. Very uncomfortable feeling.
