Re: Third place

I feel like the Asian cup break killed our momentum a bit. Overall I think we did well this season but its soured by the chances we missed to go top and the games we should of won that we struggled with. completely agree - the break really did kill us. i don't know what happened during the time but...

Re: Preview - Elim Final: AUFC v Roar

i wasn't there for the whole training session but the pitch looked good, the ball wasn't running away from them like it did against victory. the mood was good - the boys were having a good time, no real screaming by gomby. i just saw them in a couple of small sided games and then they were working o...

Re: Third place

i had high expectations this season. i think we deserve to be where we finished as we faltered every time top spot was there for the taking. the season as a whole is yet to be decided, we have won the FFA cup, we have played the most entertaining football (for the most part of the season), okay we h...

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne City Match Day Jamboree!!!©

Was a little upset the last post and the ANZAC odd was not incorporated into the pre game last night. Lift your game AUFC i found this odd as well. the club has always done this in the past. i put it down to the delay of kick-off and foxtel's scheduling. but in saying that, they could have still do...

Re: #boycottadelaideoval

I'm not happy that its at AO but what has softened the blow is that the crows and power are whinging we are playing there on friday night before the 'showcase' game on sunday. makes me happy that they are whinging. if anything - if we get anything between 20-30,000 i think it justifies the AEC's rec...

Re: Playing Final at Adelaide Oval- Home advantage lost!

Didn't want to go but as it's my last chance to see them this season, I relented. Couldn't get a decent Cat A seat. There was a queue at Ticketek in CityX which included frustrated non-members. And adverts are going to appear in the press and on TV. Seems like the FFA are bank-rolling this and had ...

Re: #boycottadelaideoval

i am attending and bought my tickets this morning. no matter where aufc plays, i will be there to support my team. as opposed to just boycotting the game - i would have thought a tifo or banner expressing your frustration would be more beneficial and get your message across better than just not rock...

A McDonald's/hungry jacks cheeseburger or a nordburger/127 days/burger theory cheeseburger? Please be specific on terms of your wager.

Does it have to be bruce djite or will bruce kamau do? Seems more likely atm. ;)
Nordburger or im not interested!
bread and bone or nothing!

Re: Who's signed for next season

What about Borrello - he had a solid game against Adelaide on Saturday, is born in Adelaide and learnt his trade at Modbury Jets.
not sure what type of contract he is on but he is very young (only 19 yrs old).

I thought Elrich is serving his suspension next week against Sydney? Or have I missed something?
