Re: Preview: R16 Adelaide City v Adelaide United
Very exciting clash amazing its taken 19 years for a true blue serious game with each other! I'm very interested to know what the vibe will be like between fans and how torn some will be? I'm always keen to see AU win no matter who they play. But it would be interesting to see if a friendly rivalry ...

Re: Who's signed for next season
I read Cornthwaite’s comment as: “(As long as we can agree terms and no one else swoops in at the last minute and steals him) Halloran could be announced as early as next week.” IMO if it’s still possibly more than a week away from the announcement then nothing is guaranteed. Yeah that's where I se...

Re: Who's signed for next season
So is Halloran actually confirmed? I haven't seen anything from the club.
Yes that front three, Clough looking much more promising this season and a strong looking defense with everyone needing to earn their spot gets me very excited.

Re: Australia Cup 2022
Has there been any talk of pre-season games? This must be such a tough game to prepare for being 2 months before the actual season starts.

https://twitter.com/robcornthwaite/status/1547822868062687232?s=21&t=GuwUnOg9LwzG6tDPJxfrTg So now we know why there’s a hold up. Ah I forgot about them. I wonder if Pelligra are keen on owning a Chinese club? I think if it was 2019 the answer to that would be very different. The info on the CSL 2 ...

Re: Nani to the Tards
Great for the league. I hope they can get most of a season out of him. If he can string games together there is no doubt he'll provide a highlight reel.
Hopefully the games he misses are against AU!

Re: Who's signed for next season
Gauci a much better prospect than Izzo. Would have personally been disappointed if we'd signed him. Wish him all the best. Unless the new owners drastically change the club's direction. I think bringing Izzo back while they have Gauci and Delianov is a luxury they can't afford. I hope the club can ...

Re: Who's signed for next season
is the national youth league concept dead? I see they changed the name to “A-League Youth” under the rebrand; apart from that, it seems nothing has been publicly stated about its existence, since the 2019–2020 season did they kill it with covid and then hope no one would notice when it didn’t retur...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Both have been amongst the goals this NPL season with Jovanovic AU's top scorer in the NPL. From the names I recognise he's the youngest of the NPL SA top 10 goal scorers. I'm more than happy to see kids rewarded with a contract after a quality local season. I just hope there are plans on a drawing ...

Re: Who's signed for next season
One other aspect for young players leaving which enables us to not be so hard on the club is, that I'm certain a lot of kids who come thru the ranks realise once they hit A-L level there is a very strong chance their chosen career will enable them to travel and see the world. I'm sure someone like Y...

Re: Josh Cavallo
Its funny the article only quotes Josh's answers and not the questions put to him specifically. I'd be pretty surprised if the questions weren't asked as a hypothetical. I'd be shocked if any player yet to cement their AL starting spot is getting their Qatar visa paperwork in order and I'm sure Josh...

Re: A-League Men 2022/23
The season kicks off right after a FIFA international window. Socceroos will play away in New Zealand. I'd love to see the game kick the season off with a real bang and get a big nation of interest here to face the Socceroos like England or Brazil. It would be such a great advert for the game and it...
