Baba has scored against Barcelona, cannot ask for more than that.
More seriously I think Baba is quality and if injury free will score 15+ goals this season.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Very good, thank you.Baba is in Adelaide and is training. I asked the club on their Facebook page and they replied. He just doesn't seem to ever be in any of the training photos and he wasn't at Para Hills last week.

Re: Who's signed for next season
D'Arrigo is listed on the club website as being in the A-league squad, but I can find nothing to say he has been promoted. He's been pictured training with the senior squad wearing number 12 so I assume he's been promoted. Great news if true. I'd imagine a 16 year old who won player of the season i...

Ben Folami is probaby the OS Aussie which I am most interested in, it will be interesting to see how much of a chance he gets for Ipswitch.

Re: OS Aussies talk
Red Star Belgrade makes perfect sense, he was born in Croatia as part of the Serbian community and then went to his family to Serbia at 1 year and lived there until he was 6. He played youth football for Serbia and he almost certainly has family there. Red Star Belgrade are the biggest club in Serbi...

Re: 2018 World Cup
It's a good thing England media & supporters had already awarded themselves the World Cup, otherwise they'd be going home empty handed... A few of my English mates were that way; not quite awarding themselves the Cup but had been preparing for the Final ever since Spain were knocked out. Still, the...

Re: 2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
how else can we observe international dates if we dont slip a few week day matches in? Start the season earlier. The EPL starts on the 11th of August The A-league starts on 19th of October. If the A-league did not start so fucking late then there could be international breaks, a break for the Asian...

Re: 2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
well yeah but I assume there have to be a certain number of games across the league played on Wednesday nights - 2 of 14 I can live with. My own preference is for more Friday night games, followed by Sunday & then Saturday, but that's just splitting hairs I can only go to Saturday games unless work...

Re: 2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
Needs more Saturday home games, there are almost as many Wednesday games as there are Saturdays.
2 Wednesday
3 Saturday
4 Friday
5 Sunday.
This is all wrong.

Re: 2018/19 Preseason Matches
Brook is surely the back up number 10 in the squad behind Ilso. Last year he was playing only bits and pieces for the NPL side, this year he was playing every game and doing very well, scoring lots of goals. Quite clearly he has improved a lot in 12 months and is growing into his excellent talent. I...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Is baba in australia yet? Might be a good indication as to us keeping him or not? Last season I thought he was late back because he and his wide had a baby and there was trouble getting it into the country so he missed most of preseason. Missing most of preseason can lead to an injury prone season....

Re: Who's signed for next season
Isn't Davidson a lefty. And Strain happier on the Right? Yes, you are right and Kitto seems to be our LB at the moment. Davidson can play CB as well. I am glad we did not get Davidson, he has some very strong parts to his game but also some massive weaknesses. I am not sure the strengths out way th...

Re: A league transfer rumours and discussion, NON AU
Fernando Torres perhaps coming to the league with the FFA paying 2 million and the club he goes to paying the other 2 million. Sydney and Melbourne Vicotry listed as favourites. All a bit dodgy, Torres in the A-league would be good but not because of FFA money. I put it here because I don't see us a...
