Re: Adelaide United - General Issues and Discussion
Yep. Happy with that. We don't want to be acting like Sydney FC supporters who think they can still win the treble.

Re: Adelaide United - General Issues and Discussion
I'm going to put up my hand and admit that I was totally wrong about Amor. Earlier in the season when we wee going badly, whenever people asked me about the coach, I said I thought that AU had jumped the gun in hiring him. He comes in with a great playing pedigree and plenty of experience in footbal...

Re: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!
I finally figured who we most play like..... And its not a football team. Muhamad ali! We are comfortable absorbing pressure and sitting back, our opponents huff and puff but rarely manage a meaningful shot . But when the time is right we attack and play some beautiful football. Just like ali, ther...

Re: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!
Thinking Kamau is already a better player than Mabil. Seems to have a bit more poise and makes better decisions and is far better at getting shots on target.

Re: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!
well I have been the most vocal critic of bruce djite, but I have always wanted to be in his corner. I can now say I am very happy how he is playing. he is converting the chances he used to miss whilst still playing his defensive and hold up play. well done brucey. credit where credit is due. Exact...

Re: Who's signed for next season
The thing about La Rocca is that he's easier to replace with an Australian player.
Don't know why we got him in the first place. Maybe they didn't realise.
A-league teams really need to consider all their foreigners as "marquee" players.

Re: Who's signed for next season
I don't really think that's a huge issue as AU isn't going to actually "transfer" a player. They'll only be picking up free agents. If anything the window closing is a good thing as it means the club isn't going to sell anyone from the squad soon. I'd just like to hear something from the club! They...

Re: AUFC Fixtures 2015/16
I'm happier with this draw than last season. After only missing a few games in 10 seasons due to overseas travel, I struggled to use up my 7 game membership.
Saturdays didn't suit me, much happier with more Friday (and Thursday) night games again.

Re: Darwin Olympic v Adelaide United FFA Cup Day Jamboree!!!
Looking at the replay it looks like that suspect goal for Darwin may have hit the bar and McGowan's hand hits the net. Hard to tell on the stream though. That's what I reckon happened. Commentators are blind. Only other possibility is that the ball hit McGowan's arm into the net, which I guess woul...
