Re: Preview: Melbourne Victory vs Adelaide United 8/12/18
I actually have a feeling that we'll be resilient for 90 minutes and then go down 1-0 deep in stoppage time due to a clusterf*ck of a goal, like we saw in the Merseyside derby. It wouldn't be an Original Derby at Docklands if it didn't leave us dead on the inside.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Also I'm gonna have to say no to bringing Bruce back. I love him but he's 31, injury prone and was never very consistent as a goal scorer anyway.

Re: Who's signed for next season
Anthony Costa is the most realistic replacement and I'd be very keen to see how he gets on in the A-League. He's been tearing the NPLSA to shreds for a few years now.
Alternatively, Ben Folami would be awesome, although I don't know if a short loan would be good for his development.

Re: Preview: Melbourne Victory vs Adelaide United 7/12/18
Regan's really screwed us over here.
Our already depleted squad is gonna get stretched further with Elsey as our only fit and available CB. Someone in the youth squad is gonna get thrown right into D-Day here.

Also massive kudos to Isaias for protecting Mauk there. He can be a massive c*nt at times, but that was lovely to see.

Re: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar Match Day Jamboree!!!
What a glorious shitshow. Where to begin? 1. Taylor Regan is one of my favourite players and a fan favourite, but he fucked up real bad tonight. Eye gouging is an absolute dog act that I never want to see, let alone from my club's players. I have a feeling that one of the longest bans in A-League hi...

Re: Who's signed for next season
Fornaroli has been left out of the City match squad again.
Might be worth tapping him up.

Re: Preview: Adelaide United - Brisbane Roar -- 30.11.18
Will be having my wisdom teeth out tomorrow, so I'll likely be watching this one in a hospital room off my swollen face on anaesthetics and painkillers.

Re: Who's signed for next season
We are apparently enquiring about fabio ferreira. Imo this would indicate mileusenic has a deal lined up in january and we are expecting goodwin to be off for the asian cup( he has had asian interest previously ) or we would be looking to play him centrally which he did for ccm. I think it woud be ...

Re: Preview: Central Coast v AUFC 04.11.18
(Not-so) Fun fact: Of the previous four FFA Cup winners, two followed up their win with a defeat in their next league match (City drew their next match which Sydney FC won their next match). Not overly optimistic about our chances of physically and mentally recovering in time for this one, but it's ...

As an Arsenal fan, I'd rather sign an actual snake than that snake.

Re: Who's signed for next season
We desperately need a striker who actually deserves to be paid marquee wages. Preferably someone who is tall/a good header so we can actually score from a free kick or a corner more than once a season. Using Sofifa, I've found some potential candidates who I reckon we can afford (if our owners are w...

Re: Who's signed for next season
What the hell is going on with Baba Diawara? Second pre-season in a row that he'll just be rocking up out of nowhere several months late. Unless there's a valid reason, it's both unacceptable from him to show such little dedication and commitment towards preparing for the season ahead and embarrassi...
