Re: Preview: Adelaide United - Perth Glory 02/01/2023
Ben Halloran returning is a big positive. Would be nice to get a timeframe for some of our injuries from the club especially our injured CBs. I think we need some rotation back there to freshen things up, the Barr/Popovic pairing hasn't been impressing. Lopez needs a rest too but VDS is also injured.

Re: RE: Re: A-League Men 2022/23
The filth's 'punishments' have just been announced and sure enough, it's pathetic. Absolute total surrender by the APL to the filth hierarchy and their backroom pressure. No loss of competition points, no suspension from any ACL campaign, not even a fine. The measures don't even amount to a slap on...

Re: A-League Men 2022/23
I've been thinking about alternative tourism opportunities for NSW and football together that doesn't affect the integrity of the competition and I think a 10 day football festival in Sydney could have been a good option. Each team plays 2 or 3 games over the 10 days. No one has to give up a home ga...

Re: A-League Men 2022/23
Dark day for football. Glover reacting was stupid, idiots who stormed the pitch way worse, ct that threw the bucket may have ruined football in Australia for the foreseeable future. Not sure where it goes from here. APL not to blame for this ludicrous incident but they have a hand in creating this...

Re: A-League Men 2022/23
Remember everyone, we're just customers not fans. What a sad turn of events after such a remarkable world cup run for Australia and great timing of the world cup for the A-league. Money has to come from somewhere but surely not at the expense of the integrity of the competition. Scrap the finals, th...

Re: A-League Men 2022/23
All grand final games (men and women) for the next 3 years will be played in Sydney, no matter the teams.
What a joke. Is this what we get with an expanded board and teams at the table

Re: Brisbane Roar v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
I feel like Isiais and and Javi could have both let their men through, Brisbane weren't doing anything worrying all game so not sure we needed to commit any silly fouls like that. Disappointing to drop 2 points but glad it wasn't a loss. Like every 1st game of the new season every team looks very ru...

Cavallo rusty. Goodwin leaves a big hole unsurprisingly.
Gauci makes a great save at the end of the half, pinball in front of our goal.

Some really average penalty kicks from Japan there. Pressure and nerves.

Re: World Cup Watch - AU Represents
Lots of mention about the role the A-league has played in our success at this world cup. One thing I was thinking about today, it seems crazy now that Leckie was rejected by Melbourne Victory before finding his way to us. Goodwin rejected by Adelaide united and having to play Victorian NPL before jo...

Re: RE: Re: Qatar 2022
Argentina … Messi in his last World Cup …. that’s huge. Spirit of 1988 please boys. Graham Arnold played in that game... there's surely some cosmic power at work somewhere that's working in our favour. Australia’s only win over Argentina in seven meetings (D1 L5) was back in July 1988 in the Austra...

Re: Qatar 2022
I think we just sat a bit too deep after the first goal. Invited a bit of pressure on the defender's. France were always going to get back into the game. Hopefully we can come out strong in the second again.
