Re: Melbourne Victory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Brilliant win. Only just watched it. I agree the reffing is so one sided in favour of Sydney FC and MV every time we play them (worse when it's in Melbourne) - but don't you prima donnas pretend it's somehow worse than in the EPL when smaller clubs play Man Utd, especially at OT. You're just being c...

I can't disagree with any of that.

Re: Matmour gone
I would still love to have him play for us. He's been a hero for a generation of Aussie football fans.

Re: Matmour gone
For a starting spot I could only see Cahill in the Matmour role. Could he do 90 minutes? Probably not, which means you have one forced sub each match, whether on 60 minutes or 70 minutes or whenever.

Re: The Road to Russia 2018
Ange has been a fantastic coach for the Socceroos and will be sorely missed. No longer is it good enough for us to play out a fighting backs to the wall draw with any nation, instead we'll go out to play football with an expectation that we will compete and the aim to win. Any draw was going to be t...

On form tonight on this forum: "Matmour doesn't give us enough." " What's the point of Matmour." "Adling's crossing hasn't been good enough." "Kitto has been excellent." Matmour and Adlung substituted. "Kurz has no idea. Why did he take off our best two creative players." Then we get: "We can't sco...

Be a shame to take Kitto out of the attack when he's in such great form.

Odd move to make to drop Warland. Inexperienced LB & RB in Strain and (presumably) Ochieng, plus Gulum still (for me) underdone and an injury risk, and no central defender on the bench.

Re: Preview: AUFC v Sydney 1.12.17
Love to see a Sydney throw in where the ball boy waits till the Sydney player approaches and then turns around and throws the ball into the crowd. Only has to happen once, right near the start of the game when it won't have an impact on the outcome. Just done slowly and obviously and deliberately.

Re: Sydney FC v Adelaide United FFA Cup Final Match Day Jamboree!!!©
It's not as clear cut as "not moving your hand towards the ball - a otherwise a defender can just spread their arms like a goalkeeper as they go in for a blocking tackle - don't move your arm towards the ball, just make sure it's stuck out sideways in case the ball might accidentally hit it and be d...

I think you've forgotten how good Fornaroli is. He could just about win it for them on his own.

What happened to supsup between when we equalised and when Sydney went ahead again. One minute he's slagging off our players for being sh!t, the next minute he's gone? I was looking forward to his astute commentary on our equaliser.

Re: Injury Replacements
Mind you, if we could trust that Baba would stay fit all season, then I'd take Cahill over Blackwood every day of the week. (Sorry George.)
