Re: Adelaide United v Wellington Phoenix Match day jamboree

Rain drops were heavier than Mabil's first touch! :D

When was the last time we won a match at home in additional time??

I waited 2 and a half hours in the rain for that second goal, but boy was it worth it. Feeling great!

Re: Hindmarsh Stadium

Would it be wishful thinking to have temporary seats installed in the corners for the final?
Yes because its not going to sell out.
We've sold out a midweek final before

Re: FFA Cup Semi AU v CCM

I'm on Shin's side with this one. Maybe because we're both Northern boys? Where do you sit Geogeo? The general admission nature of Hindmarsh helps create its atmosphere and culture in my opinion. I love it. I've always considered the Western Stand the section allocated for those who want set seating.

Re: WATRs Player of the 2014/15 Season - FFA Cup Semi Final

Carrusca and Elrich without a doubt BOG. Went with Pablo over Cirio or Mabil for my third as I though he was instrumental in both our first two goals and had some great touches throughout. Ditto. I thought Boogs was solid again today, would have him over Mabil. Elrich seemed a bit off after that kn...

Re: FFA Cup Semi AU v CCM

Thought the guy said the crowd was 4,548 ... could be wrong though. Yeah that's how I heard it too. Conceding two against CCM isn't great, and I would have loved to have beaten them more convincingly on the scoreboard, but in a Cup match the W is all that matters! We dominated for long patches, but...

Re: FFA Cup Semi AU v CCM

I know Damien Mori will be at the game, he picked his tickets up from the AU office - that were under his mate's name, Carl Veart! :D The lady at the office didn't recognise him, or Veart's name lol. Glad that those boys are still great mates and appear to support AU :) So that should at least be 1,...

Re: Preview: Adelaide United v Sydney FC 07-11-14

it's just inside the Manton St gates (Eastern Stand) to your right as you walk in :) nah, that's not it. it's to the left of those gates & the ticket booths, before you enter the stadium. on hindmarsh place. Yeah that's my understanding too. 15 Hindmarsh Place. Will put a map up a bit later today w...

Re: Elsey out with an ACL injury.

very unfortunate news :( i have high hopes for Elsey and his career, has looked like he'll be the goods for a long time now. a great talent, and composed on the ball. share the sentiments on his quick recovery. if we do get an injury replacement i'd strongly assume it'll be another lad from the yout...

Re: Preview: Adelaide United v Sydney FC 07-11-14

Og Monster's football brain = Non Existant Tactics to exploit We haven't been playing long balls as a counter attacking game plan. Teams are pressuring us higher and we are hitting long diagonal balls to our wingers to pull the defenders out of position and create 1v1's. It also makes teams think t...

Re: Castle Plaza Tavern

I dropped by the 'pop up' bar after the game. Was great. Nice to see local clubs putting on a BBQ hopefully other clubs get involved. I hope the AEC are ok with it and it can happen more in the future. Not sure how the Joiners etc feel about it. Not sure about post-match, but the Joiners would have...
