Re: RE: Re: Women's World Cup 2023
Great game (if you're an England fan), buts what with the 3,000 empty seats ??? Judging by how many people I've heard say "I tried but couldn't get tickets", and the fact that the sold out sign was put up, I smell a very pungent FIFA rat here. Tickets for sponsors/big wigs/celebs who couldn't be bo...

If the Matildas lose, surely Gustavsson gets sacked.

A-League needs to allow loans and transfer fees between clubs.Speaking of "local talent" - word on the street is that Yengi is wanted by Portsmouth and WSW could be pocketing a 6 figure fee.
The club really missed a trick there

Re: RE: Re: CC Mariners v Adelaide United Semi-Final Second Leg 2023 Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Semi-finals 3 years in a row is a pretty good achievement IMO. Of course we want another title, we just can’t expect it or demand it. We can’t draw bigger crowds. We can’t draw the big sponsorship dollars. A ‘City Group’ type buyer would probably go for a club in a bigger market. It is what it is. ...

Irankunda has apparently signed with Bayern Munich but will be loaned back to AUFC for next season. Our performance last night was okay on the balance but should have been so much better. Veart did not respond to any issues CCM have caused us throughout the year, including last week. This is both su...

I don't care where he goes as long as it's not Scotland and as long as he develops further here first.

Re: Defensive fix suggestion box
Isaias was at times our best and worst player on Friday.
We arguably need a CB who leads and organises the backline, as it's a bit chaotic.

Re: Central Coast Mariners v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
The World Cup has been the worst thing to happen to us. Ironic. We have been deplorable since then, despite beating Perth (who are even poorer). Some poor coaching is resulting in poor discipline, ineffective and poorly timed substitutions, and players falling out of form. Why are Juande and Isaias ...

I might be in the minority on this but I was relatively underwhelmed by what I experienced on the weekend. I know it's not completely finished so some things might get better but: 1. Could barely hear the PA system. It looks like only half the new grandstand had speakers so that will probably get b...

Re: Adelaide United v Melbourne Victory Match Day Jamboree!!![emoji2398]
Ahh, that was great. Hindmarsh, Manton St, AUFC and fans needed that all round. Echoed the early days A-League seasons when Manton Street was filled with energetic (safe) chaos. United fans following Victory fans down the road. Apparently SAPOL were extremely over the top toward Melbourne fans - to ...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Who's signed for next season
Yengi only big loss. Sucks. It’s a really shit situation. The club and Carl invested so much time into him, both in terms of coaching as well as allowing to him to get his both while also giving him the chance to be out starting striker this season despite only staring a few games at pro level. Aft...
