Re: Who's signed for next season
Ikonomidies has gone to WSW. Is that one AU could have done with? That surprises me. I had a chat with him and his family a few years ago on the bus after an Atalanta game, they didnt hold the aleague in high regard. I suppose its mostly a play for the WC and Gombau is also a factor another one lik...

Re: Who's signed for next season
We rejected the initial offer, but Warland wanted to go.
Cant blame him either, he is behind Elsey, Gulum and Regan.
He is more than ready to step up, cant wait to see him play ACL.

What he said ^^^
A little excited. Hopefully something comes of it.
The club is, according to Kovacevic, very close to securing a target.

Re: Preview: Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United -27.01.18
Tough game coming up, with Johan and Kitto back our attack looks a lot more dangerous.
I think we can manage without Isa for this game.
Fingers crossed no more injuries, Johan off the bench for 10-15 would be ideal.

Re: Melbourne City v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
I feel like most of the blame has to fall on Marco here. He fielded the almost the same team as last week and got punished for it. Stama just does not have enough experience to backup week after week and Ochieng's positioning looked wrong every time he was involved with the play. Blackwood should h...

I would say we would be super defensive with the players we have missing atm.
A point would be a great result tonight.
The 3 goalscorers from the Perth game are out [emoji52]

Re: Paul Izzo
Yeah, now is the time for a Euro move, he is in the perfect age bracket and performing well.
But I agree with above, needs to be first choice. Otherwise he is better off here.

Re: Matmour gone
Give him a 6 month contract to let him prove he is still up for it.
However I would prefer a longer term option.

Re: Melbourne Victory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
I see 3 big teams in Victory, Wanderers and Roar all doing poorly this season. I feel their influence on the league is what is driving down crowds. If they play poorly, people stop going, but it is compounded by the fact they are the 'big' clubs and the media pays more attention to them. I guess wha...

Re: I'm worried
I'm not sure about all this doom and gloom. We still have the youth team competing in the NPL. Just because we no longer have a Spanish coach, does not mean the philosophy has changed. There will always be minor tweaks when a new coach comes in. We still maintain possession quite well and boss games...

2 away games in a row now. Be nice to pick up some points.
I believe we should beat Victory on current form, although the ladder suggest this is a mid table battle.
What is the latest on Absalonsen?

Re: Adelaide United v WS Wanderers Match Day Jamboree!!!©
WSW would be right to feel very dirty about how that game panned out. VAR can fuck right off - it's absolutely killing my enjoyment of the game at the moment. Why is that? If he handled the ball in the penalty area, I can't see anything wrong with the VAR decision. Sure it did take some time, but t...

Re: CC Mariners v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Awesome second half, much better than the first. Kept the ball well for longer periods and stopped silly turnovers We were pushing for a winner all the time. Our possession is much more effective this season. Adi and Kitto had really good games, great for them both to score. Some sub par performance...
