Re: Palmer's Christmas gift
Does anyone else get the feeling that is an exercise aimed at gauging just what the absolute maximum number of potential supporters there are on the Gold Coast? I think the FFA have suggested Clive do this, and may actually be bankrolling it behind the scenes. I believe that based on the numbers at...

Re: Can the Roar cope with out 2 key players?
as i have been saying january will be a test for them,
Reinaldo, Solarzano, Mckay, the pressure is put on slightly, what happens if paartlu or broich get a knock?
I just hope this doesnt become as excuse for their inevietable bad run at some stage during the season

Re: How "mainstream" is Adelaide United - or solid support?
Having lived in this state for the last 42 years I have watched grassroots football grow into what it is today. In the days before the old NSL, here in Adelaide the big teams were Juventus (Italians) & Hellas (Greeks)and they always drew large crowds. In the very first year of the Old NSL Adelaide ...

Re: All over red Rovers
if canberra get a run im a bit worried its may end up like the whole Queensland situation of spreading support to thin, although i cant see why CCM NJ or SFC fans would defect as they are not exactly geographically close.

Re: How "mainstream" is Adelaide United - or solid support?
even though our average for this season is a bit down, unless your an AU supporter it would be hard to understand why. I can only think of 1 home game this year where just as i arrived to the game the skies were not threatening us with dark clouds. Frankly we have only had one game where the weather...

Re: Adelaide United v North Queensland Fury-Match Day Jambor
gold coast v newcastle
Sydney v brisbane
if goldy lose, you would have to say 2nd place is fairly safe for us, at very least for the next month.
if brisbane lose they are 4 points up on us but we have a 2 game advantage
interesting weekend

Re: All over red Rovers
i read that Tasmanias bid is still waiting in the wings and have arranged meetings with the ffa.
Tassie does not have a team in any national league that i can think of, you would think if they had an a-league team that they would get right on it

Re: Adelaide United v North Queensland Fury-Match Day Jambor
getting sick of hearing people in the stands give it to pantelis, and say ramsay should be starting. Ramsays only real role is to stick out wide and get on the end of a through ball as the opposition are pushing men up late in the game giving him space. Pantelis is given alot more responsibility, wh...
