Cheer the boys on second half. I won’t get to watch it until later tonight.
Maybe Ibusuki for Jovanovic at half time?
And if Isa has 30 minutes in him, maybe bring him on at 60 minutes.
And Nestory for Halloran …. for however many minutes he can manage.

Bugger. Goody miss hits his shot at one end and straight down the other for a sucker punch from Western.

Re: Adelaide United v Western United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
D’Arrigo, Barnett & Yull would have to be close to the youngest ever midfield any A-league side has fielded?

In possession we look good (as usual). Western really just only look dangerous on the quick break, but we’ve been helping them out with some unnecessary midfield turnovers.

Re: AUFC: Back in Asia?
Isa out means it’s harder, yes, but I saw enough from Barnett & D’Arrigo as a pair to think our chances of second still look more likely than not. Two home games to come. With ISA out for maybe a month are chances of coming second doesn’t look good , this is the 1 area we lack class in

Re: Goodwin
Thankfully Goodwin not showing any signs of his injury tonight. Looks like the medical staff have a real handle on how to manage it.

IMO - First half we were the better team, creating the better chances. Second half Sydney dominated and we were lucky to survive as long as we did.
I’m an Alagich fan, but we lost the midfield when Barnett went off. And Halloran centrally is not a patch on Clough.

Re: Adelaide United v Sydney FC Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Good first half from us. Goodwin looks good, even with a dodgy groin. (One great desperate chase back in particular comes to mind.) First 30 minutes Halloran looked really on it tonight, with almost every touch just right. Really hoping he can score or assist tonight to get some confidence back befo...

Re: A-League Men 2022/23
Anyone can beat anyone on any given day in the A-league, but it’s hard to see City losing 2 of their last 4 matches.
Wellington (H)
Central Coast (A)
Western United (A) - might as well be a home game
WSW (H)
At least they all still have something to play for.

Re: New Owners?
Right. All the conspiracy nuts can now do their thing.
The owners are crooks!
The owners are broke!
The owners are controlled by the Chinese government, which is why we can’t unlink the Chinese club from the sale!
And …. go.

Re: AUFC: Back in Asia?
That would be brilliant. Mid-week games with little really at stake, against exotic teams …. bring it on.
